The Rose Garden is no longer an active faction though it can still be used as a venue if you'd like to host an event there.

A new venue has opened along the coast just north of Vulkwasten. Formerly the lair of thieves and vagabonds, a once abandoned cave has been acquired and renovated by a quick talking, loudmouth bosmer who’s looking to cause some trouble. The venue is now open to the public as a staging ground for all sorts of debauchery. Be it regular gambling nights, drinking contests, and burlesque shows, the Rose Garden is host to any and all sorts of borderline legal vices. It’s doors are open to anyone, though there’s talk of caves, and back rooms that run deep underground, and secrets that run deeper. The Rose Garden as an organization is independent. They aren’t attached to any illicit guilds, organizations, or clubs, though the people it tends to attract may know the right people. It’s all in who you know.

Events at The Rose Garden aren’t just for fun. They’re a meeting place for anyone to speak their minds without fear of the prying ears of guards, and do-gooders. People come for the gambling, but they stay for the conversations that happen after the dice are rolled. Now, there may be people who see that the Garden serves drinks, and might fear that the Garden could be viewed as a competitor to any local taverns or businesses. This is not the case. The Rose Garden itself is only a venue, and is opened only during its weekly events. There are some things that could always cause it to open early though, but those should be discussed with the owner.

The Rose Garden is nothing without the people who populate it. All are welcome so long as they follow the simple code of conduct carved into the stone by the entrance;

Events

The Rose Garden is open on a weekly basis to host a variety of events. These events range from gambling nights, to live performances, cabaret shows, or contests. The Rose Garden is also a venue available for any community events. If you have an event you’d like to host, contact Usil Rosewood. In character the Rose Garden is located just north of Vulkwasten, in a cave on the coast. OOC, the Garden is represented by @sushiboatforone's Earthtear Cavern.

There’ve been whispers of other, less public events happening in the Rose Garden. These are of course, only whispers. If you’re someone who might take offence to illicit activities taking place in and around Vulkwasten, then the allegations of ne’er do wells meeting in the private,underground, Rose Garden rooms are completely erroneous. Though if you’re someone who likes to gamble with more than just money, then you may be welcome to enter the Garden on the days where the doors are locked tight.

History (May Include Spoilers)

The cave that is now home to the Rose Garden has been host to a number of different groups in the past. It’s hard to tell exactly who inhabited it when, and for how long. There’s evidence of groups of bosmer using the cave as shelter from the Malabal Tor rains, or as vagabonds taking up residency for short periods of time. The cave became the Rose Garden when it was discovered by Usil Rosewood, who took it upon herself to slowly renovate the cave over several years.

Now, finally open, The Rose Garden has begun hiring. As it grows, it slowly becomes a haven for all sorts of strangers, outcasts, or just normal people looking to add some spice to their lives. It's unclear so far, where the Rose Garden receives all of its money, or who Usil is. What is becoming very clear very quickly though, is how well the Rose Garden can throw parties.

Employment

All people in The Rose Garden are equals. Only the staff of the Garden will exercise any authority over anyone else, and they are instructed to only do so if the integrity or neutrality of the Garden is compromised. The Garden’s staff is mostly non-hierarchical. All employees are supposedly on the same level as each other, including the emcee and owner. Though in practice, key knowledge and leadership roles are reserved for only those who are trusted enough to keep it. The Garden directly hires for the following;

Emcees- To direct and run events at the Rose Garden.

Wait Staff-To provide food and drink to the patrons of the Garden.

Dealers- To man tables, deal cards, and roll dice.

Performers- To provide entertainment.

Bouncers- To maintain the neutrality and peace inside the Garden.

Rules

IC Rules

1. The Rose Garden is meant to be a place for all to gather and participate in whatever conversations their hearts desire. Preference is given to those who don’t always get the chance to speak their minds outside the Den. Exceptions are made for vampires, or followers of Molag Bal.
2. Should it become apparent that any person or persons intend to impose fines, jail time, or violence on any other patron, they will be removed from the Garden.
3. The main room of the Rose Garden is open to all who agree to follow the rules of the Garden. The private rooms in the back are reserved for staff, and rentals only.
4. No one is allowed beyond the locked door in the back of the private rooms.
5. Everyone is expected to adhere to the tenets of neutrality inside the Rose Garden. Only the employees of the Garden may remove someone. If an employee is found violating these tenants, a vote will be called as to whether or not to keep the employee in the Garden.

OOC Rules

1. The faction leader has an open door policy. I want to hear your ideas, thoughts, and concerns. Always feel free to reach out to me on Discord at @Lizzybug#7100, in game at @Sushiboatforone, or on Enjin at Sushiboatforone.
2. All members are expected to accept the consequences of their actions. IC consequences are part of the game. Hopefully it will be fun, but if you’re not too keen on your character taking risks, then this may not be the faction for you.
3. Though the Rose Garden is debaucherous, we are not an ERP faction. You’re free to do what you will in private chat, but please be sure to follow the BSR rules.
4. All members are expected to follow the standard BSR rules of conduct in addition to ones listed here.
5. Don’t be weird.
