Physical Description
Tanilda is perhaps on the short-side of average with slate-grey eyes. Her red hair is currently in a short Mohawk style and shaved along the sides. She finds it both stylish and easy to deal with, plus it has the added benefit of showing off her favourite pair of dangly earrings. She likes armour that matches, if not in style than at least in colour and prefers to dual-wield either two swords or a sword and dagger combo. She’s not attached to any particular style of weapon, so long as it’s long, narrow, and sharp at the end.

Tanilda doesn’t always have the greatest judgement in friends. She’s cheerful, friendly, enjoys a good joke and loves to laugh. She doesn’t believe people may hurt her until they do, and unless they come right out and tell her it was on purpose, she’s willing to extend the belief that it wasn’t intentional in the slightest. Despite that, she’s good at bouncing back and landing on her feet and carrying on with life. She feels a grudge is a waste of time, but may get revenge through a string of “jokes” that may wind up with her target experiencing loss or destruction of property. Will not hesitate to steal if things are tight and she needs to get by. Occasionally steals for fun.
Why is your character in Dominion territory? How did they get here?
Tanilda went on what was supposed to be a three hour tour from Ebonheart on a tiny ship called the Guppy. It was manned by a mighty sailing captain and his brave first mate. She and four fellow passengers were quite enjoying their three hour tour when the weather unexpectedly got rough. It turned into a freak storm, the ship was blown terribly off course, and The Guppy wound up being taken apart on the reef of what was thought at the time to be an uncharted island, but turned out to just be Khenarthi’s Roost.
Background
Tanilda was born in the city of Mourhold, province of Deshaan, and raised by rather unconventional parents. Her mother, a Dunmer seamstress named Liliah Vilyn, already had her as an infant when she met the Nord Blacksmith she’d fall in love with. Tanilda doesn’t know who her birth father is and he isn’t spoken of. Her Nord father, Alarne Rockbreaker, was all the father she needed. Alarne was previously widowed and had a son a few years older than she was, her step-brother Sven. Tanilda has been training in cloth and iron all her life, the trades of her parents, and while not yet a master, is well on her way to being one. She got a bad case of the wandering bug (perhaps thanks to her father’s stories of his homelands) and in her mid-twenties she left home to explore the lands. She was known to cheerfully wander around, and could be found either clearing out caves or drinking mead in the tavern. Thanks to being out in the wilderness for long stretches of time, she now has rudimentary cooking and herbing skills, enough to survive, but generally prefers the cooking of others. Tanilda doesn’t know what her position is in the war and finds it to be a much too serious topic unless there is a plentiful source of mead to balance it out. She learned about Sheogorath on one of those travels, and has been reading about him and the other Daedra in private. She hasn’t made up her mind one way or the other about the Daedric Prince, but she does know he’s a fascinating character and she finds him both horrible and hilarious.
