How to: Charm, Steal, Kill (Redclaw Shadowhide)

The Brother thinks it is time this one starts to write his doings so down. Seems to think this one is in some kind of danger or something, but he supposes it is about time that the happenings of The Brother were written down. This log will entail not only this one's significant happenings, but also the logs of care for The Brother and any special reports given by The Shield.

Entry 1:
The Brother's care taking goes downhill. He is obsessed with the idea that the ghosts of those he has murdered have come back to haunt him, and it is his duty to provide them full closure before his final departure begins. He seems to have reconstructed them all so far. Found vessels for their souls to inhabit, though sometimes they remain in pieces, like Madame Roselia's vessel. He has found her a body, a soul, but now searches for her voice.

The Shield has yet to return from his hunt, but this one does not worry. It takes more than a single vampire to crush that one.

It seems this one's new plaything, Wraesha, was not to be. He has helped many a mer debaucherize their relations in the past, that is not his problem. The problem is with who she has affiliated with. Rax the Accursed, The Brother calls him. Diagnosed the poor boy with a self-inflicted curse. This one cannot write down what such curse entails, for fear it would harm the reader. Redclaw will have nothing to do with a cursed boy. At least he got some jewels and a handful of coin in the end.

Entry 2:

That little bastard of a boy that this one takes care of is becoming more brash by the day. Seems The Brother has his own agenda for his deathwish. He was so happy though. More happy than I had seen him in a long time. This is no good, nothing good ever comes of The Brother's happiness. He says that the vessel is weakened, and ripe for the taking, but that he cannot act upon it until he has found the voice. This one hopes the crazy man knows what he is getting into. He is only happy after he has killed, or sometime soon before it.

He is not all bad though. He is smart and strong, and contains the ability to help people in so many ways, but is limited by that curse of his. This one has trouble finding the cure, but he is sure it will come eventually.

The Brother speaks of a bird altmer woman by the name of Mirkan. He says she has been blessed, though this one knows not what all of his crazy ramblings mean these days. What is interesting though, is that he reports that Orion has taken an interest in her. That she can see and hear him like The Shield and I. It reminds this one of the day that him and The Shield met Terrance. Back then things were so much simpler.

He had given us a very nice clue of information, at a very low cost. He had been a trusted informer, having given us multiple leads to coin in the past, so when he told us about a wealthy merchant caravan travelling through a set of secretive back-roads containing a minimal guard? We took it. And what was his price? "Don't kill the big altmer lady, let me do it." Not killing a victim is the opposite of what we usually get paid for. Little did we know we had entered a pact darker than we thought. And so here we are, in the service of a crazy old elf until he finally decides to kill himself.

Everything is falling into place.
