Leiorei,

Someone told me writing my feelings would make them ease up a bit. Personally, I think it's a load of bullshit but the thought of you weighs heavily on my mind and I just can't have that.

Truth be told, I'm not at all sure to ask where to start other than to simply ask-- Why? Well, maybe it's not so simple, I don't know. I didn't know enough to catch the signs, don't know any better now. Figured we could've just picked up where we left off. Maybe it was just wishful thinking that everything would fall back into place. Were we ever right for one another? Should we have stuck to our own kind? Questions like these have been plaguing me. Flin has become more of a friend that an acquaintance. I can't blame you, though. I tried, I really did. But it was never about you.

What we had was brief, chaotic, and impassioned. By no means the kind of love you deserve. But through all of that, through all of the blood, sweat, and tears, I think there was a sort of beauty to be found. I can't pinpoint it, but it sort of reminds me of a flame. Pretty to the eye, but not to be touched. Does that make sense? I hope so. This is making my heart hurt all over again. But it'll be fine, that's what I keep telling myself.

Have some old man wisdom.

- Don't be so hard on yourself! Hell, if I could round up those thoughts and kick them to the next continent, you can be damned sure that I would. Look at the way other people look at you. The admiration, you're one to be admired, darling.
-Cry. It's okay to cry, there's no weakness in crying but weakness in finding the inability to face these troubling thoughts.
- Keep that fire burning.

I have more but then they get me thinking and I don't want to think anymore. I don't have the strength. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me, you were always there for me and I only wish I could've done the same for you. Here's to hoping you have the opportunity to fall in love again because you deserve all of that and more than what a blacksmith could provide. Keep true to yourself and you'll go far, soup girl.

He gazed and gazed and gazed and gazed, amazed, amazed, amazed, amazed.

I love you to pieces, Leiorei, just wish ...

Please come back, I'm lost without ...

Good luck, wherever you are.
