Jaxtara is loyal to friends and kin, especially her guardian and Mentor, Waa’fang. She’s not likely to start a conversation, but is friendly enough when approached. Her training as a shaman/healer gives her compassion for others, but her history leaves her wary of strangers, especially other Orsimer. She travels with a bow on her back and her staff at the ready, her loyal ursine friend Murlat never far from her side. She will not talk Alliance, or politics, and if you mention the Orsinium king her face will tighten and she will not talk at all.

Fleeing events that shattered her childhood, her life for the past few years has been nomadic, traveling with her guardian, making their living as sellswords and hunters for hire. Their path taking them across Tamriel, ending up for now in Malabal Tor.
Background
When asked about her past, Jax says little, often with a glance to locate her mentor and guardian, the Orsimer warrior shaman Waa’fang; although it’s rarely clear whether it’s to see if he’s listening or to get his approval before talking.
She might tell of adventuring and exploring the mountaintops and delves, escorting and protecting the wealthy and soft city dwellers as they traveled. If you catch her in a sociable mood, she might tell you of her desire to be a healer, a shaman, or perhaps of sights seen along her travels.
Once you gain her trust, if you find her in a sentimental or particularly chatty mood, you might learn of her home on the cliffs of Wrothgar; of a slain chieftain, the murder of a family, and her narrow escape in the dark of night, whisked out of harm’s way by clansmen loyal to her father. Waa’fang, the most loyal of them taking her under his protection and taking her farther from danger.
