Descriptions
Physical: Dar'ashi is a Cathay Khajiit standing about 5'11" and is decently fit with a lean physique. His fur is rather short, and a mix of white and tan, with black tiger stripes. His eyes are bright blue. One ear is pierced with two simple earrings. Dar'ashi is most often seen in common clothing with a sword and/or a bow and quiver of arrows on him.
Personality: Dar'ashi is a good-hearted Khajiit, but is often passive towards most things. His ultimate goal is to simply provide a life for his little sister, though the calling of coin tends to get the better of him. He has learned how to be an effective pickpocket and lockpicker, as well as a fine archer. He does not allow his thief side to show publicly, of course, and when he is being a thief, he does well enough to hide his identity. Generally, he is a very caring person, very hesitant to kill those that aren't animals or just not a threat and prefers not to put others in danger for his own greed. He considers Rajhin to be his family's patron god, believing him to have watched over and assisted them during their struggles.
Skills: Dar'ashi prides himself on being a Woodcraftsman, often making artistic sculptures, as well as being rather decent with a bow and arrow. He could be a decent actor as well, from his years of begging and charming others into sparing him some coin, but he hasn't considered it much beyond that. From his years of having to live off the land to survive, he has also picked up on how to cook from hunting, and learned how to set up decent makeshift camps in the wild. The skills he's less so proud of is his abilities to pickpocket, lockpick, and sneak around rather easily.
History
Young Age: Dar'ashi was born in the Pellitine region of eastern Elsweyr, close to the border of Cyrodiil and not that far away from the Imperial city of Leyawiin, on the year 2E 567. He was the first born of a normal Khajiiti family of carpenters. Although, his father was a former bandit and often passed down certain advice to Dar'ashi whenever they were together, such as how to hide in the shadows and how to pick locks. He would often go off and explore abandoned Temple ruins, gaining a bit of a liking for some adventure. However, the pandemic known at the Knahatan Flu would spread across Tamriel, eventually reaching his family. Fortunately, he and his little sister didn't catch it, but both of his parents did. They would both die when was of the age of 13. After saying their last goodbyes, and swearing not only that he's keep Kiri safe but also that they'd return to give them a proper burial, Dar'ashi would take Kiri and head across Cyrodiil to get to High Rock.
High Rock: It would take some time before they reached their destination of the city of Daggerfall. There, he would find that their reception was not the best. They were homeless and poor, often seen as nothing more than beggars, flu victims, and sometimes even Dominion spies. Dar'ashi would seek out jobs, sometimes finding some, but focused most of his time on caring for his young sister. Soon, he would take up thieving in order to feed themselves. He would find he was almost natural at it, putting to use what advice his father had given to him. Though, it often wasn't as much as he liked as he made sure Kiri was fed first before him, thus often going starved and malnourished. Eventually, he would have reasons to move out of Daggerfall and wander further into High Rock, resting at several of the towns and cities there, and avoiding the effects of the Planemeld and the War over the course of 5 years. It would be in Wayrest, at age 18, that events would transpiring, leading him and Kiri to leave High Rock and the Convenant lands entirely.
Current History: Dar'ashi and Kiri would spend what little amount of gold they hand to get a ship ride on a nuetral merchant ship from Wayrest to Velyn Harbor, in hopes to reach their old home within Elsweyr, as the Flu has calmed down by then. After resting briefly, they began to make their way through Valenwood toward the border, only to stop at the small village of Vulkwasten, where their lives have now changed, for better and for worse.
