PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Standing at 5'8", Jakodesh is a calico Suthay-raht Khajiit of average to above average height with blue eyes and a dark ponytail, most often seen wearing hooded light cloth of red and gray colors instead of conventional armor made from hide. He is not overly muscular, though his body is well-maintained and fit, which allows for swift movement. His right eye has a vertical scar crossing over it and his hands are declawed, though beyond this Jakodesh appears physically unscathed.
PERSONALITY
Jakodesh is usually calm and professional, though quick to bite back or even outright attack someone when feeling insulted, due to his high amount of pride, as well as snarky and sarcastic if annoyed. His accent is that of someone raised in Morrowind, and he often uses Dunmeri terms when speaking, both in formal as well as informal company and in reference to items, locations and/or concepts. To a point, he does act Dunmeri, but not entirely so, starting to assimilate with the Bosmer and Khajiit. He prefers getting directly to the point in discussions and dislikes magic, with Destruction via fire being his greatest fear for reasons he cannot explain. He also suffers from Dysgraphia which debilitates his writing skills, and he cannot swim, prefering to avoid water altogether. Beyond this, Jakodesh's strengths lie in his survivalististic tendencies and behavior, being a good tracker, scout and archer, as well as a decent alchemist, though he is entirely self-taught, and nowhere near the skill of an educated alchemist. When forced into combat he relies on swift blows from his fists and kicks in close-quarters, and his archery when at a distance, keeping on the move as much as possible to avoid being hurt. Though he does desire settling down with someone and live out his life, he is quite fearful of consequences for his actions when he makes mistakes, and can at times blow a situation way out of proportion, his prefered tactic being to just run away and start over somewhere else.
Why is your character in Dominion territory? How did they get here?
Though raised on Vvardenfell, Jakodesh was urged by Notsu Harlan to travel to Malabal Tor in search of her sister, M'Sura Harlan. Initially opposed to the idea, he reluctantly agreed to join her for the good of his friend, traveling by caravan from Skyrim after crossing the Inner Sea by boat. Though he has made claims he is only there until after M'Sura's mother has been found, whom she said she was looking for, he is starting to take a liking to the forest, considering settling down in it.
BACKGROUND

Born under a Telvanni yoke, Jakodesh was immediately declawed and spent his early life in captivity working in kwama egg-mines on Vvardenfell, along with his siblings and his mother whom would teach her young the Khajiiti ways in secret. However, being discovered the mine owners would make an example of her, first cutting out her tongue, and later burning her alive with magefire while the children were set to watch in horror. Jakodesh at that point being in his early teens, would continue to work, repressing the memory of what had occured.
A few years later, Jakodesh now in his late teens fled, taking a chance on slipping out of sight and stowing away on a ship bound for the mainland, abandoning what was left of his siblings. He survived off of petty thievery of food and the like until he was chased out of the towns and into the ashlands of Morrowind, in which he was forced to make use of his feline senses to hunt for food, learning the skills he needed by repeated trial and error. After several failed attempts, he was eventually able to craft a simple bow and arrows, that which though it was flawed made his hunting much easier, given that he had otherwise hunted with his declawed hands and teeth.
Eventually realizing that he had to get out of Morrowind, Jakodesh was able to join a small caravan of traders bound for Skyrim, pretending to be a mercenary looking for work. Luckily crossing the border with no trouble he would jump off in Windhelm, where he would spend time wandering the streets a beggar, and slowly, but surely learn how to read, mostly by asking strangers. Writing would prove to be too difficult however, to the point where he'd stop trying to perfect it. Eventually he came across an advertisement for a company called Goldleaf Acquisitions, which he started working for to earn coin and get back on his feet, being allowed to sleep on the floor in their headquarters.
Jakodesh would in spite of things looking up still struggle with the matter of faith, being unsure of what to believe. The matter was resolved however, when in Riften he came across a Tribunal preacher that which told him the word of Almsivi. Jakodesh, reasoning that the Tribunal would accept all races and not just Dunmer, decided that it was time to make a change for himself. With trying to spread the word of the Tribunal on his free time to the Nords failing to various degrees, some involving getting hit in the face for insulting the Nordic pantheon, Jakodesh quit his job and decided to travel back to Morrowind, to try to join the clergy and help there. Sadly, he was not accepted, though he would begin to attend sermons to learn what he could, an Indoril man by the name of Athelynn Oresn letting him stay at his home granted he cleaned up after himself.
Starting to emulate the Dunmer in their speech patterns, behavior and pride, Jakodesh would take a liking to the Redoran unit he often saw attending the sermons. And as luck would have it he got the opportunity to speak to a member by the name of Ka'Dessi, a Cathay-raht, as well as Matoka, another Cathay-raht. The three would go to an inn by the name of the Flaming Nix after one sermon, and speak about the Redorans they worked for. The role of the Chap'thiil militia was explained to Jakodesh, that it was an unofficial outlander militia serving House Redoran. Desiring to make a name for himself Jakodesh signed up, serving the unit for roughly half a year before it was disbanded, and Jakodesh as well as the others were honorably discharged. Though he never saw frontline combat, Jakodesh was taught to improve his archery and scouting skills, as well as given basic mundane medical training. The unit would only see a few missions while Jakodesh was a member, one involving hunting down a lich using necrotic magick.
Following his unit being disbanded, Jakodesh picked up alchemy as a hobby, learning how to make a few basic potions and poisons, and though he would move to Riften to reconnect with a boyfriend and set up a small store, he would travel to Vvardenfell whenever time and funds allowed, to collect ingredients and reminisce over his difficult past. Eventually though, the memories of his youth started to take their toll on his mind, which made him want to abandon everything to start over, this being one of the many reasons he finds himself staying in Malabal Tor, trying to slowly, but surely assimilate with the inhabitants.
