Kinae looks unusually young for her age, appearing around the human equivelant of 12-14. She often has her hair up in pigtails, adding to her child-like appearance.

As someone who has frequently been teased about her appearance or inability to speak, Kinae can't stand bigotry in any form. Often she inadvertantly brings some of the attention to her appearance upon herself as she sometimes behaves childishly, though also tends to get annoyed when not taken seriously. While she can write to convey what she may be trying to say at the time, it's not her preferred method of communication, often finding it inconvenient and bothersome.
Why is your character in Dominion territory? How did they get here?
Kinae grew up in Grahtwood of Valenwood, learning to hunt and survive in the woods of the region. She also has a natural curiousity, causing her to explore to new locations.
Background
Kinae was born without the ability to speak. As a result, she has had trouble communicating with others and learned quickly to be self-sufficient. The need for this became increased when she lost her family at an early age due to a bandit attack on her home while she was out hunting. Prior to their death, her parents had taught her how to read and write as it's often the easiest method of communication, even if it's not preferred by Kinae. As a result, when she does write, she often prefers to use short words, phrases, or sentence fragments to convey her meaning.
(( I'm sorry if it's not overly long or detailed...I don't usually put too much direct forethought into the personality or backgrounds of my characters, instead preferring to have a broad concept in mind and adding the details as I go as things come up through conversation/interaction. ))
