Pala is a boisterous mannered sell-sword that tries to make buddy-buddy with whoever she can. Typically, this involves challenging people to drinking contests that she will most likely lose. Other times, this can mean a game of dice that she thrusts upon others with little consideration. Those who take her up on her offers though, will find a fine companion.

Why is your character in Dominion territory? How did they get here?
Pala wanted to escape the reputation of the slave houses back home in Ebonheart Territory, and moving a fair distance away from their territories was a good place to start. She's found the Tall Trunk Tavern as a place of decent repute that she could advertise her services. The wants to explore other places to find somewhere that she could call a permanent home, but for right now, Malabal Tor was close enough.

Background:
Born in Morrowind Ebonheart territory, Pala was the kind of child who always did what she was told to do. If her parents said swim, she would swim. If her parents said sing, she would sing. This went all the way through her naming day, where she licked the Hist's sap, and took her full name as Pala Duwong.

As she grew up in years, Pala began to learn more and more about the history of the Great Houses and their blackened past. The more that she learned, the more and more she seemed to distance herself from her people. Living on the land that she grew up on become more and more uncomfortable. Eventually, she decided that the land that she grew up in was not one she wanted to continue living in. Once she felt that she was competent enough in the ways of survival, she left.

To make a living off the road, Pala took to being a sell-sword while also learning more about the world. When all of the chaos settles down, she hopes that one day, she can become a teacher or historian, to further help the development of future generations of children. For now though, she will stick to her staff.
