ɸ Physical Description ɸ

A tall, athletic altmer who strays away from the physical uppity-ness of those of his ilk. A rugged man who looks to have spent more time awake than asleep, always a furrowed brow and his light green eyes on something or someone. His tanned golden complexion marred with numerous scars, the ones across his face the most notable. Despite his inherent ruggedness, his hair and facial hair seem well maintained, as if that part of his culture he couldn't let go of. Golden glittering tattoos shift over his form, they are neat, professional, meticulous markings that decorate his skin from his jawline down to his ankles. These beautiful tattoos however are broken up along the insides of his arms, back and his abdomen by a multitude of scars. Most are well healed over, though there will always be ones that are bandages or recently healed. Always. His ears are decorated in a few piercings, most of them gold aside from the large ebony stones that stretch his lobes about an inch each. He is rarely seen without armor, rarely seen without dark leather concealing most of his form.

ɸ Personality ɸ

Sanction is a man who enjoys many things in which life provides him, but he goes out of his way to take more, to grip and strangle every ounce of pleasure out of something to satiate his needs. His manipulation of his personality to get what he wants has been crafted into an art form. To him, there is no person in which he can't talk out of their closest belongings, people are easy and simply a means of constant income. He plays on people's strengths and weaknesses, those apparent that he's learned from passive observation or simply digging into their history. If Sanction wants, Sanction will find every single way to get that. Though despite this part of him, the very essence of him, if he does happen across someone who can truly earn his trust and loyalty, he will hold onto that until the day he dies.

ɸ Why is your character in Dominion territory? How did they get here? ɸ

Essentially a freelance mercenary, Sanction finds work between every settlement he's been in. Dominion is easiest to find work in because Altmer are more readily able to trust another altmer, particularly one with his morals and roguishly handsome face. His last job however had him working for Daggerfall Covenant, though they have never really been readily able to pay what those of the Dominion have.

ɸ Background ɸ

Growing up in a noble kinship, Sanction was lined up to be a proper altmer, to marry another of noble blood and to continue his family's lineage. It was a goal he was never really interested in, even as a child and growing into a young man, the thought of snooty dinners and being forced to wear tailor made clothing put him off to his race's culture. It was easy for him to find alternatives, easy enough to find who would buy his stolen goods and who would pay him to hurt someone else. This was far more satisfying. He would develop himself to maximize the amount of people in which he could successfully interact with, as a general altmer's attitude towards outsiders was always a quick way for someone to be put off to his services. Learning the ways of communication, manipulation and maintaining a high charisma allowed him to weasel his way into shady groups that ranged from corrupt nobles to petty beggars. People were easy and it was easier to carry out whatever fucked up plan they had for their claimed did them wrong. He didn't care if they were guilty or not for the most part, he only cared if he was getting paid at the end of the day, it's all the wanted. He did not take place of judge and jury, he was only the executioner. To keep this guilt off of his mind, he turned to self discipline, harsh, brutal, pain inducing self discipline in the form of constant flagellation. It cleansed him, each time his body bled, his deeds were forgiven, at least to him.
