A recent Discord discussion led me to realize that there are several different attitudes toward how much information we like to see included in character sheets. Personally I would rather discover a character's deepest, darkest, innermost secrets by role-playing it out. (In other words, I'm a prying, nosy busybody. ;-) )
However, others pointed out quite rightly that there are some characters who either would never let slip their most interesting secrets, or they just won't ever come up in conversation, or maybe one or two people will ever find the secret out IC, but what about the rest of town? So, they're for full disclosure on character sheets.
We all agreed that we didn't think there should be any standard or rules for this sort of thing. It's a matter of private taste. But now I'm torn about whether to read peoples' character sheets, because I'd rather not spoil the fun.
So, I started wondering whether using spoiler tags of some sort might be a way to improve life for all points of view. It is certainly not a big deal, just a mild suggestion. I had in mind adding something in the Subject line after the character name, whether it's (Spoilers) or (No Spoilers) or (Mild Spoilers) or whatever the author thinks is appropriate. For some, mentioning spoilers in the body of the sheet might be more useful -- and I see now that there is a Spoiler formatting element available. Or there might be a way with this forum software to tag threads with a Spoiler label, though that might turn out to be a little too rigid for an ideal method.

Edit to add: Aaaand... then I notice the "Suggestions and Complaints" sub-forum, but also that it's set up so only officers will see it. Guess it's up to the officers whether this should be moved there; I understand why more negative issues would belong behind an officer wall, but hope no one perceives this as negative in any way.
