Character Name: J'njer the Dagi-raht
Race: Khajiit
Age: early 20's
Sex: Female
Marital Status: Single
Affliction: None

J'njer is a dagi-raht, which means she is shorter and smaller than her suthay-raht counterparts, but as an exchange, more adept at magic. She has a broad-featured face with average tiger-stripe markings on her orange fur. She wears her hair cut close to her head in a short mane. Usually she is seen wearing a comfortable, short robe of indeterminate shiny fabric and some long laced-up sandals.

Being a dagi-raht, J'njer is a young mage adept with a special penchant for fire magic, although she has been known to dabble in lightning or frost magics as well. She is rarely ever seen without a magic staff of some sort. That being said, her interests outside of magic range widely between reading novels, trying new foods, and picking fights with Daedra. She does not, however, pick fights with other mer or men. Used to a certain amount of prejudice, especially among mer, she tries to be respectful and kind to all sorts, to the extent of her ability. Like her fire magic, her temper can sometimes flare up, but there isn't usually much to worry about, because she has very little physical strength in her tiny frame, and her anger is usually overruled by her desire to keep the peace. She has a strict policy of never talking about the war, preferring to put the atrocities of such an action to the side and focus on rooting the universal evil out of Tamriel. She enjoys the physical freedoms that come with wearing a robe, and prefers dresses and robes to pants and legged armor. She usually has a pahmar companion at her side when exploring the world.

J'njer was born at the very edge of the Tenmar forest, where she was exposed to the culture of the suthay-raht. She eventually found herself in the Summerset Isles, hoping to widen her cultural horizons and experience. She quickly discovered that all was not perfect under the Eagle banner, which is one reason why she doesn't talk about the war--she doesn't approve of such a divided community going to war to try to control the rest of Tamriel, if they can't even keep the peace at home.
She doesn't say much about her childhood in Elsweyr, other than that she had a fairly normal one and that her parents are still alive. She may or may not have siblings; she doesn't mention them in conversation but it is suspected that she does have some. She has confessed a certain amount of fear that anyone knowing the more intimate details of her life would eventually use them against her.
Since she doesn't approve of the war, she tends to avoid overtly public displays of her (relative) combat prowess, fearing that she might be seen as just another potential soldier for the crown. She prefers to stay relatively unknown, and doesn't seek fame. As she says, "This one simply seeks to make her own mark on the world, yes? Even a small footprint is a mark."
