Aminos Makoych

Aminos was born on the 26^th of Morning Star, 2E 548 inside his family’s keep, first son to a lesser House. Their keep stood on the northern border of the Kingdom of Daggerfalls holdings, sitting on the southern edge of the Daenia woods, along the western coast. He was only twelve when slavers came to place his home under siege. His father, a battlemage serving under King Bergamot, commanded the defence of Danyth, the small village of which his family oversaw, while Aminos watched from the walls of the keep, unbeknownst to his family. This seeded the beginning of his drive to serve the people of Daggerfall for the greater good. He continued his studies with vigor, and quickly discovered a natural affinity to magic, astonishing even his father. Once he became of age, Aminos was quickly brought into the fold of Daggerfall’s armies, serving as a Battlemage alongside his father. When Ranser’s War erupted several months later, he was sent along with his father, to aid Wayrest. His father, following Ranser’s War and the rising death toll of the Knahaten Flu, throws himself into studying the affliction in the hopes of saving his countrymen.

After the occurrence of the Soulburst, Aminos spent his time travelling the Kingdom, eliminating an increasing presence of Daedra and their worshippers, until in 2E 580, he was once again called to arms, this time to fight in Cyrodiil. He was deployed to Cyrodiil for several years as an officer and battlemage of the Covenant. On his most recent leave, he asked to be placed on retirement to pursue more academic paths, and having been granted leave from his position in the army, he joined the Mages Guild officially, travelling Tamriel in search of magical research and artifacts.

Aminos arrived in Cormount during Sun's Dawn of 2E 586, intent to work with the local Mages Guild in part while he studied nearby Ayleid ruins to assist in his research involving Ayleid meteoric glass. He purchased some property in Auridon, due to the lack of Green Pact restrictions on building and ease of cargo transportation from High Rock. This endeavour quickly fell apart when he found himself sucked into the troubles of the town, as well as teaching a young bosmer, Dalea, about magic. After several lessons, and spending time with a woman for an extended period of time aside from in court or in the military, Aminos eventually asked her out to dinner. This culminated in them beginning a relationship, which continues to this day.

The town also appointed him as a Councilor, in charge of what little finances the town has. It has proven to frustrate him continuously, and has become a point of friction between him and several of the townsfolk. Realizing his original plan is no longer in focus, he has recently decided to double down on his research, and return to his original mandate.
