Background:

Hailing from Alabaster, Kivva always tried to keep herself in good company as a child. Tending to stay out of trouble, and stray pockets the girl always found herself drawn to the elves that would come through town, the visiting cultures fascinating her young little mind. Her own culture would never quite capture Kivva's imagination like the elven cultures did, their hold only growing as she aged. This was much to the disappointment to her parents, who were displeased with their daughter seeming to abandon their customs. But, there was never a resentment, not even as the girl left her home of Alabaster at her first chance with one of the merchant caravans, wanderlust in her heart.

But these are dangerous times, and a wandering girl does not stay wide-eyed for long. Soon a blade was thrust into her hands, the girl expected to use to defend herself like the others in the caravan's should it ever come to that. But, it rarely ever did, no matter how far travels took them. Not at first, kind words and deft diplomacy tended to be enough to keep the caravan clear of troubles. Nimble tongue eventually causing the others to call her Daro-Kivva, placing the honorific before her name like it was custom for those from Alabaster. Her attempt to reconcile with parents she hadn't seen in and wouldn't still for more years.

Alas, merchants and their wares were not enough to sate the desires she held. Kivva did eventually bid her old friends farewell one fateful day. Selling what little possessions she held to her name, and the few coins the girl came upon herself a horse. To call what she had a plan gave the girl too much credit. A few days of nothing more then riding off in circles left her lost, confused, and her companion starved. She wasn't even sure why she rode the circles, perhaps a fear of actually adventuring lurked within her mind, perhaps she did this simply because she couldn't actually convince the horse to leave the paths it was accustomed to. But, the speed at which she made these mindless circles had amused the drunks of the town taverns and inns, who would spend the next three days watching the khajiit speed through their towns like clockwork.

But, one cannot subsist on the spirit of adventure forever, and the girl and her horse gave out after the third day. Hunger and weary bones overpowering the rider and steed as their circles came to a halt. Local inn keeper bringing the girl in and offering her a warm meal and bed to recover. As payment for the kindness, when Kivva and horse recovered, they were asked to deliver a package to another inn. Faithfully she did her duty, soon returning back to innkeeper with another package in tow.

A courier wasn't the most glamorous profession, but Kivva found it suited her desire to travel well. She was never in one place for long, her travels taking her ever northward. As she drifted further away from her homeland and the elven provinces the once prim and proper personality she took one melted away. The khajiit beneath it all ever slowly rising to the surface.

But, the further she ran from home, the more it tugged back and the girl knew she could only do one thing. It was almost seven years since leaving home, and she realized that she had done nothing truly of note, merely having run from town to town delivering packages. Finally on her 28th birthday, the girl realized she was not young anymore, and her life was only running shorter. Back home she went, hoping to start again and make something of herself this time.

Personality.

Kivva's personality is very much at odds with itself. She is a girl filled with an insatiable wanderlust, but happens to be very lazy and sedentary all the same. An ever friendly khajiit, she's usually looking to place herself near any warm fire close by, and do nothing until forced to move. Always more then happy to strike up a conversation with whoever comes by, hopeful it leads to some sort of traveling. But, despite being a free spirit, she is ever careful to keep her nose clean. Getting locked in a cell would run opposite to her traveling spirit after all.

Strengths

Kivva likes to consider herself adequate with a sword, not a slouch by any means but she wouldn't take home any awards.
If asked, she'd consider her main strength to be her tongue and its knack for getting her out of conflicts. And time with merchant caravans gave her some insight to the world of trade, but just enough to give her an idea of how to spot when someone was trying to 'take her for a ride', so to speak.

Horseback ridding itself was perhaps what she did best, and the only skill she had to show for her years of work as a courier. While not exactly a marketable skill, it took a sort of stamina and athletic ability to ride a horse, and the girl prided herself on keeping in a someone well shape all things considered.

Weaknesses.

She holds no real valuable skills. Having never learned a serious trade, or truly trained in any profession. Her knowledge is lacking in most areas relating to trade-skills, or combat skills actually.

Any sort of combat is not her forte, only a passing knowledge of swordsman ship to protect herself from petty criminals. No knowledge of the arcane arts, or the finer details of the art of combat.

The girl is rather trusting. While able to spot an obvious lie, and someone trying to take advantage of her financially. It isn't hard to trick her and use her trusting nature and friendly personality against her.

Likes/Hobbies

Warm places, as cliche as it might be, are her favorite thing. Despite her generous amount of fur, one might think the girl was completely exposed with how much she clings to any sort of warmth.

Horseback ridding is her one pleasure she really allows herself. Feeling a sort of peace when given the chance to ride out and travel the land at such speeds without a care.

Traveling in general is a passion of her's, something that no matter what she does or where she goes, always tugs at her heart and mind.

Dislikes

Staying in one place for too long, in-spite of her lazy nature the girl hates to be sedentary. Leaving her at odds with herself, and love of warm cozy fires.

Warm fireplaces and campfires, and how they make her sleepy, and all cozy. And lull the khajiit into a lazy slumber.

Khajiit that speak like this, and use the third person. A habit she feels makes the khajiit come across as uneducated compared to the other races. But a habit she neither has broken, nor frankly has the patience and energy to work on breaking.

Thieves, brigands, and other riff-Raff. Kivva always has tried to keep herself on the good side of the law, and finds a certain bad taste in her mouth around such riff-Raff.

People who talk like they're from another place but aren't from that place and are just trying to emulate someone else they heard because they think it makes them sound smarter and more distinguished then they really are even though they just come off like a cheap imitation and a backwards fool like people that try and fake an upper-class accent to seem above everyone else that one jerk you know the one everyone knows a jerk that does this and its really annoying.
