Physical Description
Tia is a young Imperial woman with blue eyes and blond hair. Her hair is shoulder length although she would prefer to have it much longer. She is not one for braids though so she styles it as it is. Her skin is tanned but not darkly and her hands and feet are well cared for though they do show the signs that Tia is no stranger to hard labor or combat. She wears a full suit of Imperial medium styled armor made of leather and carries two standard Imperial long swords and an oak bow. She is also familiar with the great sword.
Tia is quite often found covered in wood chips and spattered with the small balls of molten steel which are produced when she is working the smithy. She wears an amulet that was a gift from a friend and two rings, one upon each hand that she recovered in a dungeon. She takes pride in her appearance and when not in armor will be found in soft silks and sandals or some other form of regalia.
Personality
Tia is an extrovert and this can be considered both a good trait and a flaw. She is one of those who will go up and speak to anyone in an attempt to make conversation, especially when the days wear down on her and questing and crafting begin to be too much. She is a loyal and steadfast friend and the perfect enemy to have. She is not vindictive or vengeful, or at least that trait has not yet surfaced. She believes in honor, integrity, strength of character and wishes one day to be a knight of the realm. She has no time for people that are mean or vindictive or cruel, especially if they are cruel to animals or children. She enjoys being with friends on adventures, the occasional debauchery at a good tavern and good food. She has taken up fishing as a hobby and enchanting and potion making and has yet to blow up the enchanting station she uses or set fire to the potion making station, but give her time. She still giggles when she recalls how she almost set herself on fire at the smithy when she was wearing her silks.
Tia has found herself in the Aldemeri Dominion by way of hurricane. An indentured servant to an Imperial family of nobility that was among the fleet that was shipwrecked on Khenarthi's Roost.
Background
Tia's past is a faded memory. Sold into indentured servant hood by her impoverished family when she was a mere child of six years. She served the family as well as she could. Cleaning, cooking, storing and general work until she was in her teen years. She was a beautiful child and in her teens she found that beauty was a curse as much as a gift in that she had caught the eye of the Lord of the house whom she served. She had tried to fend off his approaches but was unable to, and he finally had his way with her in the stable house of their manor. The Lady of the house knew what he was doing but was unable to protect Tia from his approaches. The Lord of the house had always had a roaming eye and fidelity and honor were not in his way of life. The Lady of the house did what she could for Tia, even showing her the art of sword and bow in secret and had even whispered that she would see Tia released from bondage. Thus was Tia's life was until she was in her twenty fourth year of age. It was then that the Lord of the house, who fancied himself a great swordsman and knight decided to sell his sword to the Aldmeri Dominion. Tia was surprised when he sold the estate and then had them all ship out to Auridon. During the journey the fleet was struck by a hurricane and came to grief near Khenarthi's Roost. The ship foundered and in their haste to leave the sinking ship, the other nobles on the ship grabbed their treasures and took to the small boats to save themselves. Tia found herself alone on the deck of the sinking ship, watching her Lord and the Lady jump into a small boat with several others and casting off, only to have their boat be broken asunder by a huge wave. Tia and the others left aboard grabbed what they could and lashing together a raft they launched it and by some miracle they found themselves washed ashore on Khenarthi the next morning. Saddened by the loss of her Lady, but happy at the loss of the Lord she found herself a free'd woman now since all papers concerning her servitude were now lost, forever! So, she began a new life after that fateful day and has determined to do her b est, help others and fight for the Aldmeri cause and maybe she will gain that knighthood she yearns for.
