The entries below are all dated prior to Giselle's arrival in Cormount.

The Seventeenth of Hearthfire

Marcus stood just below my window the greater part of the morning, making even more of a fool of himself than I thought possible. Nothing would shut him up about 'proclaiming his love' for all of Kvatch to hear. Vipers and Toads! I can hardly hear myself think with him here! [there seems to be a pause in the writing.]

Update: I told him to stand still while I pretended to rush downstairs to his embrace but I told the maid with the lazy eye to throw the contents of the chamberpot outside on him. Serves him right, flapping his lips for all to hear!

It's so hard being as beautiful as I am.

The Twenty-Fourth of Hearthfire

Titania threw a soirée to celebrate some minor military achievement of some relative, I wasn't paying attention. Certainly she has some beauty if you squint really hard but that girl can't dance to save her life. It was like she had two left feet on top of being stung on her fat arse, the way she jerked to-and-fro.

I'm so funny.

The Twenty-Ninth of Hearthfire

Rain.

I seduced one of the new guards, it's so easy. Just bat your eyelashes and play coy, they eat it up like sweetmeats. I told the witless ninny to undress and wait for me in the library and then asked my father to meet me in the library to discuss some trivial matters.

Needless to say said guard is no longer in our service. I hope his new employers don't mind that nasty black eye he's sporting.

The First of Frostfall

More rain.

I backhanded the maid with the lazy eye for tying my corset too tight.

The Sixth of Frostfall

Arrived in High Rock with mother to pick up a few new gowns. Apparently the colors of the season are a deep burgundy and coral color. The seamstress' young daughter mistook me for a Princess, I didn't correct her.

Mother went on and on about some important guest to be visiting the estate in two week's time, that's all I gathered before tuning out. She noticed and told met pay attention so I told her all her wrinkles were making it too distracting to simply concentrate on her chatter.

That always shuts her up.

The Eighth of Frostfall

I shan't speak of his name here in case this diary falls into the wrong hands but I had a fleeting moment with the Baron. Tottering fool can't seem to forget a kiss sweetened with sherry, seems to have believed me when I suggested we run away together in my drunken haze. Make no mistake, he has a wife. And three children.

I'm a sucker for a silver fox.

He gave me a letter pledging his love. What a lovely piece of blackmail he's supplied me with, it's like he's asking me to make his life a living hell.

Beauty is power and I have plenty to spare.
