A letter would be pinned to the notice board in the Guard Hall, delivered by Fedris Timberscrub. The handwriting is somewhat neat, carefully written.

I don’t have much, but what I do have should be given to my loved ones.

The home I purchased months ago is to be left to my sister, Yazara. She will also take in my bear, Bark, and the stray dog I’ve been taking care of. Fedris is sending a letter from me to her, so no one should have to track her down.

I’ve been saving a little bit of coin for a while. It was supposed to go toward repairs on my home, but I won’t be needing that anymore. I have 368 saved up. Fedris is to give 174 drakes to my daughter, Zalya, 174 to Marshal Kashya Vulano, to be used for the Guard of Cormount. And 20 drakes are to be given to Lady Giselle of...I don’t remember where she is from, but it’s the noblewoman who’s suitcase I threw. I hope that is enough to get some of her things cleaned. It’s not much, but it’s all I am able to give.

My two-handed hammer was passed down to me from my grandfather. I wish for my good friend, Fedris Timberscrub, to have it.

There is a bag of soap that my aunt made for me, but I could not use without sneezing and breaking into hives. Hloriella expressed interest in it and she is free to get it from my home.

I don’t want to write long letters of Goodbye. The other night was a perfect way to say goodbye to all of my friends. I want everyone to remember the good times and hopefully seeing me in a cell will fade from their memories, in time.

But Rats’ letter has given me something to think about. It’s said that cursed like me will end up in the Hunting Grounds, forever feeling that urge to hunt. To me, it seems like such a lonely and unfulfilling way to spend my afterlife. But I like to think that perhaps I’ll have some way to be closer to those I have lost, like my parents and the soldiers I spent so many years with. If I am able to speak to any that you have lost, I will be sure to tell them that you are doing alright and that I was honored to meet you, because you’ve all had a part in shaping me into who I am. Or, who I was, before the curse. So for that, I thank you all.
