Physical Description
Small even among her own kind, Banaree is barely chest-height to the Argonians she grew up with. Her blonde dreadlocks have been intertwined with numerous gifts from various friends and family members over the years. Her one good eye is a dark red, while the other a pale, milky white. While the origins are unknown, the scar decorating the left side of her face -including her eye- are the obvious cause of her half-blindness, while the other various scars she keeps well hidden.

Flairs: She wears a simple silver band around the third finger of her left hand, and a twine choker-style necklace around her neck.

Personality
Always at odds with herself, Banaree has spent her entire life trying to reconcile her heritage, with her adopted family. Filled with the Bosmer curiosity, and mischievousness that define her people, she spent her youth struggling to rein those traits in, and -most often -failing miserably . When trouble happened around the small village she was raised in, she was typically at the center of it.
As she grew, left home, and traveled the world, her mischievousness developed a particular cruel streak towards the Dunmer and Imperials, after seeing how they treated her adopted people. She still retains the curiosity, and -if a person shows that they bear her people no malice, or prejudicial feelings -she is a fiercely loyal friend and ally.
She loves learning, simply for knowledge’s sake, and will learn anything offered -as long as it’s presented in an interesting, or hands-on manner. She finds little use for reading, or being told something.

-Quick to right any slight against ‘her’ people (Argonians)
-Sees little use in books
-Rarely serious, even when called for

Why is your character in Dominion territory? How did they get here?
This is required.
After the death of her adopted mother, she decided to head to Dominion territory, and learn what she could of her species. To see how much of her was her adopted mother’s

Background
The Argonians of Bal Foyen were unsure of where the little girl came from. Covered in cuts, and blood, little more than a babe, the child simply appeared on the side of the main road to Devon’s Falls. Although the area was searched, and the proper authorities notified, no trace of her people, or where she’d come from was found. There were talks of sending the child back to her own people -if it were even possible to do so -but those talks were quietly shelved when Carries-Sorrow, who had lost her mate, and three children in a fire, announced her intentions of adopting the child. To raise the child among them.
Carries-Sorrow nursed the child back to health, and raised her as her own. Although she was given the name Banaree by the tribal elders, Carries-Sorrow personally named her Brings-Great-Joy, and she quickly became known as ‘Joy’ to the other children of the tribe.
Growing up, Banaree came to think of the tribe as her family, but as she hit her teenage years, she came to realize that many of the travelers she came across treated her better than they treated the Argonians -despite the fact that, as far as they knew, she was a member of the Aldemeri Dominion. They treated her as a go-between, as if she needed to ‘dumb’ down certain topics for the Argonians. That, if given a choice in the matter, most outsiders would automatically grant her authority over any Argonians present.
She quickly developed an inherent dislike and mistrust of most outsiders, particularly the Dunmer and Imperials. But after Carries-Sorrow’s death, she decided to meet more of her people; to explore and see if the races of Tamriel were better than what she’d seen from travelers, and wanderers.
