GENERAL INFORMATION
ESO @name: ionmaster113
Character Name: Ethirhel
Race: Altmer
Age: 39
Sex: Female
Marital Status: Single
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual.
Affliction: Arrogance. Racism. Superiority complex.
CHARACTER INFORMATION
Physical Description 6’1”, willowy, well groomed. A typical altmer. She has dark toned golden skin, light blonde hair (of which she wears long), and two prominent elven ears, and two golden eyes. She’s pretty, as all altmer tend to be (hooray for selective breeding), and doesn’t denote any ‘imperfections’ such as moles, freckles, mixed bloodline… Just a top notch altmer!
Features: She’s got this look of, like, snootiness. That’s the closest I can ever describe it. She just looks like she’s judging you. She is.
Identifiable Markings: Scars all over her hands, just /all over/. That’s why she keeps em bound up! They look like little cuts from falling, or something.
Style: She wears a jerkin in the high elven style, with a collar of the same type. Hand wrappings, baggy pants, and some sturdy hiking boots. No jewelry.
Personality
Likes: Altmer (pure altmer, of course), books, magic, libraries (that are magical or elven—excluding orcish, bosmeri, dunmeri, and maormeri ones), being left alone, tea (good altmeri tea).
Dislikes: Literally every other race, getting her hands dirty, having to clean up after idiots, messes, people, talking to non-altmer.
Strengths: Racism, unpleasant personality, magical capabilities, no-nonsense.
Weaknesses: Racism, unpleasant personality, squeamish, rude.
BACKSTORY
[/center]Background
Born on Summerset to an important, yet unnamed (by her, mostly) family, Ethirhel was held to the highest expectations of her family. She must be, in a word, perfect. And for many other less important families, she was! To a point. To the untrained eye, she had her father’s skin, ears, and eyes, and her mother’s features, hair, and temperament. This was wrong.
Her skin was far too dark for any respectable member of her family line; far too swarthy. Like an orange, honestly! And her eyes? Far too lemon-y, not RADIANT enough. Her hair was far too coarse! Too dark. When she was born, her head was far too big for her body (by a nigh unmeasurable amount). Assuredly, she was the shame of this large family.
She was the BLACK SHEEP, oh woe to her, never able to live up to the inane expectations of her family. She was far too clumsy, shambling from place to place, looking like some malnourished gremlin (which she was, her family didn’t want her to get FAT).
She was always behind on her studies, never as good as her elder siblings were—who were all adults at this time, and most already doing very important things for the family, like breeding—and disappointed her tutors at every damn point. She had to be perfect. She must be perfect.
It got better as she grew older; her skin wasn’t considered ‘unsightly’, her hair not so ‘coarse’, her ears weren’t so large for her head, and her eye color more pleasing to the… eye. Her studies were doing better; the stress was less… focused. Her perfection was, in her mind, met. To a point.
There was that residual anxiety, of course, but that’s nothing! Totally not something that made her have an inferiority complex in the future, ho ho!
After she’d completed her initial tutelage, she went on (after the urgings of her parents) to enter the Mages Guild, and thus Spread The Family Name, all that nonsense. Blah, blah, blah, several worthless lessons later, and then she’s gotten herself stuck in Grahtwood. Delightful.
