Dazgra gra-Lashk@MyriadPro | Orsimer | Age 31 | Female (Divorced) | No Afflictions*

Conflicted between natures, Dazra gra-Lashk is a Orsimer of complication and history. At home in the forests of Valenwood, she finds herself thrust into the pages of history, and the founding of Orsinium anew. Will she turn her back on her origins, to build the future? Or stick to her past, and try to fix a home fractured by old traditions and barbarism.

“Pretty” was never a word used to describe an Orsimer woman, and while such was the case with Dazgra, her features were - at the very least- vaguely pleasing to look upon, particularly so to those of her kin (and comments about such had earned more than a few Orcish men a broken nose).

A tall and imposing woman of equal portions thick and muscular, Dazgra was by no means neither a novice nor a hearthwife looking for an easy life. She boasted not just height, but a thick and sturdy frame, with generous proportions. Her rich, dark brown-green skin was marred with expansive tattoos, depicting a furious flame, that seems to stretch from her collar, along both arms, and down to her toes - no doubt expressing her affinity for the forge.

Her face was constructed of strong, angular features; a sturdy unbroken nose, furrowed brow lines, and thick lips broken by twin spires of ivory tusk, and a display of brass spiked lower-lip piercings that made her visage all the more intimidating. This was all framed by braids of deep, dark red hair, hanging as far as her shoulders, unless gathered up and away.

When in comfortable weather, she opted for simple leathers of a more Bosmeri style, accented with more traditional Orsimer steel - allowing her flexibility and ease of movement. When in the north? She chose to cover almost every inch in fur and steel, opting for a full regalia of traditional Wrothgar steel.

Despite the perhaps intimidating nature of her appearance, it was common to find Dazgra grinning. She enjoyed life, and all it had to offer. Be it a fight, a drink, or even a good story.

While Dazgra can be a bit bullheaded, especially in the face of adversity, her day-to-day is motivated by simple pleasures that keep her grounded. She enjoys a bawdy tale or a friendly spar as much as she enjoys toppling arrogant fools from power. Buy her a drink, or ask her to sharpen your weapon, and she’ll quickly become your friend.

Emotional Strength
Enthusiasm
Dazgra approached the outside world with excited fervor, that drove her far from her home. This mindset for ‘something new’ has kept her ever charging in the direction of adversity, seeking the next challenge.

Emotional Weakness
Recklessness
Enthusiasm can lead anyone from reason. Dazgra is very often unprepared, and while she may spend a great deal of energy at the forge, it is usually fixing a mistake, than preparing for the future.

Motivation
Cause
Being a woman in an Orcish Stronghold can be... Limiting. In a male dominated world, a female Orsimer has few options, even though a Chief might laud otherwise. Dazgra never subscribed to such restrictions, and has no intention of allowing that world to remain the same. Her goals lie in a change for her people, though maybe one they’re not ready for.

Fear
Failure
Failure is Dazgra’s biggest fear. This is not to be confused with defeat, for she knows the difference. Try and try again! True failure is giving up! This can result in Dazgra having a dangerous temperance towards defeat, and a dedication to some causes and missions that may seem doomed to someone more reasonable.

Why is your character in Dominion territory? How did they get here?
Valenwood is Dazgra’s home, and she tries to make visits often enough. While her more recent work has kept her in Wrothgar, she never forgets her origins, and the draw to return there.

Born of Jathsogur, in the Malabal Tor, to the Chieftains of Clan Drublog, Dazgra got her start in a harsh and violent culture. While raised within the Stronghold walls, she was very quickly traded off to a lesser Chief within the Clan, in exchange for land and weapons - beginning at a young age, her perception of herself as a commodity.

Under this new Chief, she was trained at the forges under the current Forgewife, who sculpted her through rigorous discipline and harsh demerit into a master of her craft, well before her 16th season. Which is when things escalated.

Upon the ‘accidental’ death of the Forgewife, a replacement was to be selected for the aging Chief. And to Dazgra’s nauseated horror, her name was added to the lot, and selected. The grooming process began shortly thereafter, where Dazgra was forced to undergo lessons, and the training necessary to fill the role.

And she had none of it.

A fortnight before her marriage ceremony, Dazgra broke out. Collecting up her best self-forged axe, she made for the exit. In her flight, she was forced to slay one of her kin - though unfortunately not the Chief.

She made for Bosmeri holds, and with some convincing, managed to find a place - working the local forges and making a wage enough providing Orcish-forged arrows to the local populace. Wage enough to set off on the road, to find something.

She wasn’t sure what, ambling throughout the land without a clear cut purpose... Taking on jobs for adventurer and mercenary both, until the call of Wrothgar reached her. It signalled a new beginning for her, for her people.

And potentially, hope for the future. She set off, to build Orsinium.
