Ko'aecus is a very dainty cat. She enjoys the little things in life and likes consistency throughout life; the less change the better. She is very timid and shy until she gets to know a particular someone (either by mutual hobbies, frequent interaction, or simply being friendly and patient towards her). Much of her timid nature comes from her short-term memory loss (See Background), which hinders her perception on a person's character unless it has a great impact on her, or is seen repeatedly. Despite her issues with memory, Ko'aecus loves the arcane arts revolving around alchemy and restoration. She keeps several notebooks full of useful information on both people and magick throughout her years growing up in the Mage's Guild.

Background:
Ko'aecus' history is a sordid one, and not one she herself remembers. Sometime in the second era, year 572, a very young Khajiit, no more than five, was travelling across Reaper's March with her parents in a caravan carrying good from Elsweyr. Suddenly, without warning, the small caravan was attacked on all sides by bandits. The mother, with her child in arms, ran for the bushes while her husband and fellow guardsman fought off the attackers. However, the two were slain in combat. The bandits eventually found the mother and her Khajiit child, beating them senseless and to near death. The cub's mother died, but the cub still clung to life. Only a few minutes after the bandits had left, a single Argonian stumbled upon the wrecked caravan and slain Khajiits. She surveyed the bodies for any signs of life, before finding the only one breathing to be the cub. Lunar, as the Argonian was called, dressed the cub's wounds and took her away to her makeshift camp.
Lunar would raise the cub for the next several years, naming the her Ko'aecus, and teaching her all she could about survival. During this time, however, Lunar discovered Ko'aecus' inability to remember minute details and forget entire lessons a few days after they were taught and seeming to have no memory or recollection of the events. Scared that something was wrong, Lunar took the Khajiit to a healer to assess any lingering damage. The healer confirmed Ko'aecus' severe head trauma a few years prior had severely inhibited her brain's development. Lunar solemnly decided it would be better for Ko'aecus to live among mages, partly because Lunar's current lifestyle meant she had barely enough money to scrape by, while also hoping that Ko's time with the mages would help her memory.
From there, Ko'aecus, at the age of eight, was taken in by the Mage's Guild and would spend the next ten years studying and learning. The rigorous study helped her memory drastically, but even now she still forgets small details (such as: faces, names, places, events, etc).
