ESO Name: @elchespirit0
Character Name: Sings-at-Sea
Race: Argonian
Age: Mid-twenties
Sex: Male
Affliction: None
Marital Status: Single
Physical Description: Thin, green-scaled Argonian of average height.
This character is still early in the development stages, so this is what I have so far. I am still learning about Argonian lore, and so certain details may change later on. I am always open to feedback and constructive criticism, and would love to hear what you guys think :)
Personality: He is a very social, friendly, and outgoing Argonian. He enjoys meeting new people, and is often networking to increase his business. He likes to speak in metaphors during conversation. He has a good sense of humor, and is usually a cheerful and happy Argonian.
Likes: Sings-at-Sea is very fond of the Khajiit, as he has worked with several during his smuggling career. Of all of the provinces in Tamriel, he prefers Black Marsh, but southern Morrowind is something of a second home for him. He has a strong interest in ancient history, both Tamrielic and Akaviri. He would like to travel to Akavir one day, although it currently seems to be wishful thinking. He enjoys good stories, music and poetry, and is talented with a lute. He loves to travel, and prefers the open road to being tied down to one place.
Dislikes: He has a dislike for those who follow the law for the sole purpose of following the law. For Sings-at-Sea, government a legal systems are not a black and white, good and evil thing, and does not believe they should be blindly followed. Because of this belief, he considers himself to be a good person, although criminal. Sings-at-Sea holds some contempt for the Dunmer because of the historical relationship between Morrowind and Black Marsh, but ironically spends a lot of time in Morrowind.
Strengths: He is skilled with a sword and shield, as well as with a bow. Thievery and persuasion are his strong suits, and he has a strong personality. He is an exceptional sailor, and something of a bard with his love for poetry and the lute.
Weaknesses: Sings-at-Sea has a hard time with commitment. He has a very "in the moment" type personality, and when something or someplace begins to bore him, he simply moves on to the next exciting thing. He also has tendencies of a kleptomaniac, and has a hard time resisting the urge to loot and steal. This weakness has had a huge impact on his current lifestyle. Sings-at-Sea also has a hard time understanding the complex schools of magic, and doesn't have the patience to learn.
Background: He was born to a tribe in Black Marsh somewhere near the border with Morrowind. Growing up, he loved music and poetry, and learned to play the lute. He was a soldier in his tribe's army for a few years until he got into the smuggling business. He obtained a boat, a small skiff, and learned to smuggle a variety of goods along the coasts of Elsweyr, the Black Marsh, and Morrowind. He earned his name from the songs and ballads he would sing with his crew during their long smuggling voyages. Eventually his luck ran dry, and was kidnapped by a band of Dunmer slavers. However, after a few long weeks, he managed to escape. Homeless and shipless in southern Morrowind, he began to travel the land as something of a sellsword (mostly just as hired protection for travelers) and smuggler for hire, also doing odd jobs here and there to make ends meet.
