Physical Description: A little taller than average for dunmer. Straight dark hair and dark red eyes. She has a large scar across her face and also has burn scarring on her chest and left upper arm.
Personality: Sarcastic, irritable, acts fearless but is secretly afraid of a lot of things. She has a deep sense of justice and will not tolerate oppression or bigotry around her. Nevertheless, she uses her skills to manipulate people where convenient. She loves rarely, but intensely.
Strengths: Combat-wise, she prefers medium armor and dual wield. Pickpocketing and manipulating people are hidden talents. The ones she doesn't hide include weaving and sewing. She also knows very well how to play the part of a Dunmer noble.
Weaknesses: She doesn't do much magic; she really only knows basic healing spells. She isn't very strong physically and being made to wear heavy armor, for example, would make her pretty useless. She tends to see the worst in people, and turns away potential allies for this reason.

She was the younger of two daughters born in the city of Tear to a minor noble family associated with House Dres. Their parents made it very clear that Relyne was the child they wanted and Llothyne was the spare. Their parents were physically and psychologically abusive and their treatment left scars on both girls. Relyne committed suicide when Llothyne was about 27. Llothyne dealt with this abuse by putting on common clothing and sneaking out of the house at night to go to bars and to home with strangers.
The next year, while visiting the Imperial city, Llothyne was not looking where she was going and walked into an Argonian servant, Turtle Hawk, who was carrying a large pot of almost-boiling soup. Llothyne received second-degree burns on her chest and arm from hot soup trapped against her skin by her clothing. The servant helped her remove her dress. At that moment, Llothyne's mother arrived, and saw what she believed was her daughter behaving inappropriately with an Argonian. Llothyne was severely beaten; if her mother ever noticed the burns, she acted like she didn't.
That was the last straw. Llothyne and Turtle Hawk ran away the next day. They both took fake names and traveled as far as they could from anyone they knew. There was romantic/sexual tension between them but it did not lead to anything, and eventually they parted ways.
Llothyne has had a number of adventures since then, but this is where she came from.
