Backstory of Eleni Claymoore

"A fool is a fool, but you can have sympathy for the fool." - That is pretty much what folk in Vlastarus described Eleni Claymoore. Eleni was born in the village of Vlastarus in Cyrodil to a family of hunters. Early in life Eleni was taught the ways of hunting by her father Auron Claymoore. The Claymoore family was known to provide with most of the game used for cooking in the village so they were always in good standing with Vlastarus. Eleni is considered one of the most naive people you can imagine. She would go hunting and comes back with more than enough but also bearing wounds that a normal hunter should not even have. Eleni would laugh away and tell stories of how she faced waves of daedra on her own and coming out as the victor which of course is just a made up lie. She is indeed formidable with a blade and bow, but shes too careless when she gets excited. Regardless, everything seemed well until the start of the Three Banners War.

During the time of the Three Banners War, Eleni and her father were out hunting when they noticed a injured soldier in the woods. This soldier was part of the Daggerfall Covenant, an enemy of the Dominion controlled Vlastarus. Eleni expected her father to take this soldiers life in the name of the Dominion but the unexpected happened. Auron decided to tend the soldiers wounds instead. Unfortunately this act of kindness was seen by a fellow Vlastarus villager and extremist supporter of the Dominion. The villager called for the guards to arrest both Auron and Eleni. Auron and Eleni were charged with treason against the Dominion for providing aid to a Covenant soldier and were sentenced to death. However, Auron manage to have Eleni avoid the death sentence by proclaiming that he was the one who provided aid to the soldier. Eleni was put in the front to see his father executed by hanging that day.

The next day, Vlastarus decided that even though Eleni was spared there should be no more Claymoores in Vlastarus so the decision was made to exile Eleni from there. She now has a hatred for her birthplace Vlastarus. She has a hatred for all three factions engaging in the war in Cyrodil.

Eleni left Cyrodil for the island of Auridon. Using her hunter skills, she now works as a beast hunter for gold. Although she lives in a city which belongs to one of those factions she hates (Dominion) she also do work for the them regardless of her feelings for that faction because she needs to live a life without being poor after all! But in the end of the day... she continues to be clumsy and naive and when the job is done she would again lie to make her stories sound more dramatic.

Her personal prized possession is her armor that she sought out in the legendary Clockwork City. (Which is a lie made up by her... she bought it actually from a merchant.)
