Likes:Likes:: The pink trees from Auridon, cool colors (blues, purples, etc.), tea, strolling through forest type areas, silver jewelry, playing her lute.
Dislike: Loud, closed places; desert-like areas;
Background: Originally born in Auridon, Artemis grew up in the northernmost part of the Vale (also known as Reaper’s March). She is the daughter of a merchant Tristar Dragonfire (her father) and a pottery maker Laralin (her mother). They had originally met during her father’s travels from Wayrest to Elden Root and despite the long trip he always made time to see her. After a few years the two had wed each other and not wanting to completely leave the Vale, they compromised and decided to live in Reaper’s March. Their reasoning for this is was that despite having to go back to High Rock on occasion, he would still be close. He also stopped going all the way to Elden Root and decided to work in a smaller area. At one point Tristar had received an opportunity to work in Auridon, so he took his wife with them and they lived there for 2 years. During this time Laralin became pregnant with Artemis, and a year after her birth they went back to the family home in Reaper’s March.
Despite having two different heritages, Artemis took on her mother’s looks. Though she did have a few different features from a typical Bosmer. Her eyes weren’t as sharp nor almond shaped like most, having taken a more rounded shape and the color of her father’s pale blue eyes. She had a more human shape, not thin and lithe like other Wood Elves, and was also a bit more taller than others. Artemis was quite proficient with magic, specifically healing. She had a love for animals and sleeping under the tall trees that dotted the land. As she explored her local area she became proficient with locating various materials that others needed such as ore, water, and Mundus stones. Plants were easy for her to find, but due to the locals following the Green Pact she never bothered to collect them. Sure she never took the Pact herself, but she still respected them not wanting to cause trouble.
She wasn’t the only one like this though. She has a close friend that she cares for dearly who also came from a similar identity. The two of them were always together whether playing games with the other children, or fishing at the nearby river. When she wasn’t doing that, she would sometimes go on trips with her father. During one of the trips as a young teenager, she and her father came across a Nord that was selling a recent litter his dogs had. After pleading for minutes, her father finally caved and took one from the Nord. When she asked what the pup’s name was he told her it was “Stuhn”. She liked the name and decided to keep it, though her father insisted on giving him a more Breton sounding name.
When she was a young adult she developed a wanderlust and after a few days with talking to her parents, she decided to head out and discover Tamriel on her own. It has been some time since she’s been home, after hearing some news about the village and her friend leaving as well she decided that she wouldn’t be back for some time.
