Nice sheet. As it is however there is no "Way of Dragons" Swordsmanship. You could instead say that he learned how to use a sword from redguards. And when you say feels no pain do you mean that they cannot feel anything physical at all? How did that come about?

I get what you're saying with the "Way of Dragons" and if you're really strict with lore and you want me to change it, I can. I just wanted to tie in all my class abilities with my backstory because if my character is just supposed to be a dude who went and learned how to sword fight from some Redguard then it doesn't make sense for him to be able to do things like tank swings from giants or spontaneously grow dragon wings. Also in regards, specifically, to the not feeling pain thing, it came about as a side effect of his training with the old man. I'm sorry if I didn't make that clear enough. I wanted to leave most of the specifics vague-ish so it would prompt people to ask me or my character about his past.

Ah I see, We don't tie class abilities (Game Mechanics) to characters abilities (Rp) and we are relatively strict with the lore. There is consequence to not feeling pain since pain is based on nerve endings. No pain means no pleasure, no physical sensation outside of maybe pressure. Something to consider changing there. As well as changing that to just learning swordsmanship from the redguards since there is no way of the dragons.

It has been fixed. I changed "The Way of Dragons" to "The Way of Fire" and got rid of any dragon related stuff. That should technically be more lore friendly since there is a "way of fire" set in the game. It even comes in the Yokudan style. I also removed the pain tolerance.

Hi, Aithen. I'm Kashya, the GM of Blue Skooma Roleplayers.

While your character sheet looks good for the most part, there is something I'd like to point out: The abilities and skills of our characters really isn't all that "amazing" by default. If you're a former World of Warcraft roleplayer, then I should point out that roleplay between there and here is very, very different. While everyone in WoW has a "hero" complexity and has amazing superpowers, most of the civilians in Elder Scrolls lore are a lot more normal. Now, that doesn't mean that outlandish things don't happen. We've had plenty of issues with magical "natural disasters," the supernatural (Werewolves/vampires), and other issues of that nature. But, most of our characters are just people scraping to get by in a not-so-impressive, lower class town in Auridon.

So, that being said. While we certainly don't mind your characters having some special or unique qualities to give them their own flair, we also abide by the lore as well as we possibly can. That being said, I do think that this "Way of Fire" practice should be expanded on, to make it lore friendly, and if this is not possible, then a much safer alternative would be to simply say he was practiced in traditional Redguard swordsmanship.

While we are on the topic, I would additionally like to mention that most of the Elder Scrolls' combat is not exactly lore-friendly. The man in charge of ESO's combat, Wrobel, has even specifically said "we just add in what's fun." So, we ignore or avoid most of ESO's combat mechanics whenever and wherever possible.

If you would like to attempt to continue in delving into this practice rather than going a route along the lines of Redguard swordsman training, then I do have a few requests before we can approve your character sheet. Namely, what is the benefit of having this "skill," and how can they be sourced from lore? You can find plenty of sources through the Imperial Library at https://www.imperial-library.info/.

Please keep in mind that the "Way of Fire" set in game is just a set, and has no lore source or even vague description in-game. It is simply a set for PVErs, and there is no actual "Way of Fire" in ancient Yokudan lore.

Please feel free to DM me or another officer in Discord if you have any additional questions or issues!
