Seasons have passed and I now find myself away from Valenwood and in the land of the gold-skin-people, the altmer. I’m learning a great deal, many many things. I write those things down, but I remember the most important things and keep them safe in my mind for when the Hist calls me home.

Regrettably, the shores of the rivers and even ponds have a smooth white sand that is not pleasant to rest in, even more so than those of Elsweyr. The rivers and sea seem to hold a great many new kinds of fish, I must taste them! Their scales are dull compared to those of Valenwood, however.

I made a deal with the tavern of Shattered Grove to sell my fish and Thtithil Beeko’s bounty. She has been unsettled since arriving, but I am sure she is just missing the marsh grubs. Many argonians are in this town, a wonderful sight!

Some altmer Gold-Skins told me the proper ways to greet others, and annunciation is important! Vocal sounds must be not too high like a croak of a white tongue-frog, but not such a whisper to mimic the reeds. Must speak clear, carefully, and firm!

Maybe I can save up for one of those nice dresses friend Estre has. She seems to call me ‘Gramma’, which I think is a meaning of elder. She must think me very wise! A big compliment for me of only nineteen seasons!

I should give her a sample of Ththithil Beeko’s first batch as a kindness! But first, I must find some bark grubs to make a glaze.

Most exciting news! While trying to read the notice board, I bumped into a lady who was carrying a most beautiful and impressive egg! I was going to congratulate her on such a thing, but it turns out, it was no egg at all! No, but something just as mysterious.

Her name was Alena and her egg was some kind of special relic with mysteries. AND she works with someone named Volar, doing expeditions to find more mysterious relics and items! Another of the team, Dalnorea I met, so many new friends.

They are having a meeting at weeks end and invited me. I'll have to dig out some of my finished salted fish snacks to make a big and good impression. Alena even wished to try some of the spider's eggs. I hope to learn many good mysteries, mysteries to bring home.
