Seasons have passed and I now find myself away from Valenwood and in the land of the gold-skin-people, the altmer. I’m learning a great deal, many many things. I write those things down, but I remember the most important things and keep them safe in my mind for when the Hist calls me home.
Regrettably, the shores of the rivers and even ponds have a smooth white sand that is not pleasant to rest in, even more so than those of Elsweyr. The rivers and sea seem to hold a great many new kinds of fish, I must taste them! Their scales are dull compared to those of Valenwood, however.
I made a deal with the tavern of Shattered Grove to sell my fish and Thtithil Beeko’s bounty. She has been unsettled since arriving, but I am sure she is just missing the marsh grubs. Many argonians are in this town, a wonderful sight!
Some altmer Gold-Skins told me the proper ways to greet others, and annunciation is important! Vocal sounds must be not too high like a croak of a white tongue-frog, but not such a whisper to mimic the reeds. Must speak clear, carefully, and firm!
Maybe I can save up for one of those nice dresses friend Estre has. She seems to call me ‘Gramma’, which I think is a meaning of elder. She must think me very wise! A big compliment for me of only nineteen seasons!
I should give her a sample of Ththithil Beeko’s first batch as a kindness! But first, I must find some bark grubs to make a glaze.
