After being taught how to hunt to gather food for her 'masters', she fled taking her bow with her. While free, she was still in a difficult situation as she could not read nor had any money. Thus Amarai began her career of thieving and 'borrowing without permission'. After deciding that she needed more profitable locations, she smuggled herself to Auridon.
