Race: Altmer
Age:550
Sex: Female
Affliction: Vamprism
Physical Description:
Height: 6’4”
Hair: Golden with a vague Auburn Tint
Eyes: Green
Body structure: Somewhat Angular face, though not necessarily by normal Altmer Standards, very well-toned and defined musculature across her body.
Distinguishing Features: Enchanted Facial Tattoo that glows various colors.
Personality:
Her Noble upbringing shines through in most of her interactions, though she’s learned enough not to have derisive condescension oozing off her every syllable.
As much as she tries to hide it, she views others as “beneath her”, oddly enough however she holds other Altmer in the highest contempt, because they remind her of her race’s failing in losing their Aldmeri heritage and longevity.
She has become very reckless, constantly seeking thrills to assuage her “Mental Fatigue” from the hundreds of years of failing to attain her lofty goal.
Cin has a very dark sense of Humor, as she would describe it, but in truth most wouldn’t find her “jokes” to be very amusing.
When asked about her past, Cin will employ hand-waving tactics to change the subject. If pressed, she will simply say her entire life has been devoted to the study of the Aldmer (partially true). If that answer is insufficient, she will likely make a mental note of who was pressing for information about her past before excusing herself rapidly.
Cin cannot go for prolonged periods in “polite company” and still feels homicidal urges on a regular basis.
Cin has developed a Habit of talking to herself. It is normally quiet and reserved, but if left insider her own head for long enough undisturbed, it will devolve into a very loud screaming match with an invisible partner until someone grabs her attention, at which point she will awkwardly excuse herself.

Background:
Cin was born under a different name (one she will not disclose) in the Town of Dusk on the Summerset Isle early on in the 2nd Era. She was Born to a lesser Noble Family, and lead a sheltered but otherwise carefree life in her childhood. Her parents and caretakers often told stories of their Aldmer ancestors, elevating them to near god-like status in the young girl’s mind. By the time she was a young adult, she had become obsessed with her ancestry. However, her sheltered childhood combined with the elevation of the Aldmer lead Cin to have a disdain for all others, including the Altmer. In her mind, they were merely a hollow shell of what they once were, sad mockeries of the majestic Aldmer of the past. He life’s goal would be set early on, and it would shape her life into a comedic tragedy.
At the earliest age she could, Cin set out on her own to study the Aldmer. It began as close to home as the grotto beneath Dusk where numerous ancient shipwrecks laid. From there, she poured over tome after tome, everything she could get her hands on. She became fixated specifically on the longevity of her Aldmeri ancestors. In her mind, this became what separated her from her Ancestors.
Her family soon became concerned with her mental health, with a handful of letters being sent from her parents to confidants across the Summerset Isle. Unfortunately, these were some of the last things anyone heard from her family. Their family home was found, abandoned and in disrepair. When it had been found, there hadn’t been a person living in the home for months, and there were no bodies to be found. The entire family was presumed dead, including Cin herself.
Since the mysterious disappearance of her family, Cinwiril Andorin was born, roaming Tamriel in search of the answer to her burning question: How can she extend her lifespan. For hundreds of years, she wandered and studied, but tried to keep a low profile. While her family’s disappearance seemed only a flash in the pan that many forgot about, and she’d adopted a new name and persona altogether, it was best she not draw attention to herself. She stuck to seedier parts of town, working to learn what she could about prolonging life. A few names came to her: The Psijic Order, Divayth Fyr, Lamae Bal. She turned to researching Daedric Princes and bargains to be made, Ancient Cults and Rituals. No Taboo was too great for her to be willing to look into it. She even tried desperately for years to appeal to Clavicus Vile, but was unable to even entreat him to respond to her. She told herself it was because the Daedric Prince of Bargains knew she could outsmart him, but that is unrealistic, and few mortals can purport to understand the workings of Daedric Princes. She simply could have been TOO eager to make a bargain for the prince to find any fun in it!
In the end, the only lead she was able to follow was that of the Vampire, Lamae Bal. Turned into an undead abomination, she believes it to be a mere stopgap. Her mortal body is more vulnerable than it was before in many ways, and she felt that it had not brought her closer to the glory of her Ancestors. So, she continued to bide her time and do what research she could.
The years continued, and defeat after defeat began to wear on her mind. Her desire for longevity hadn’t waned, but her will to continue had been well and truly tested. She found herself needing mental respite more and more, but the old vices she’d enjoyed to unwind in the past no longer seemed to do anything to ease her weary mind. One day, in a fit of rage, she murdered an unfortunate soul who happened to cross her path as she was wallowing in her own frustrations. The sight of fresh blood pooling beneath her victim was somehow… cathartic. As if ending the life of another was somehow validating her own miserable existence. As her mind spiraled downward, her rage bubbled up to the surface and she went on a killing spree. It wasn’t long before a dark hooded figure had contacted her while she was toying with the entrails of her latest victim. Despite her feral nature, the Dark Brotherhood had been watching her for many months, and they believed her to be a potential asset, if they could return her former sanity.
After spending weeks in the Brotherhood sanctuary on the Gold Coast, she was finally some semblance of her old self. Her noble upbringing shined through a bit as she forced herself to socialize somewhat. She had the occasional lapse, but this was easily rectified by channeling her murderous outburst through a contract. Finally, she was able to compose herself for most of every day, and she continued her research into a longer lifespan, using the Brotherhood as a resource at times.
