ESO @BandersnatchPX:

Character Name: Ceres Elvawen

Race: Bosmer

Age: 110

Sex: Female

Affliction: None

Personality:
Due to her past Ceres personality flows. Having been tossed around since childhood from place to place she’s can me sarcastic and blunt one moment to cheerful, to cruel and heartless the next. Essentially, she will “morph” to be what she needs to be to “fit in”. Though, when given the chance to unwind she’s rather temperate. Preferring a quiet atmosphere with a book and a sweet, over large gatherings.

Expertise/skills:
Having grown up in the Valenwood when younger she, like many of her kind, is skilled with a bow. Her father taught her the essential skills to survive so she knows her way around both dagger and axe (the one-handed kind. She loathes two handed weapons as her small frame finds them unwieldly). Her mother taught her the basics of nature. From the cycle of life, to the flora and fauna of the forests. She has an affinity for critters of all kind and is able to tame a number of them.

Physical Description: Ceres is typical height for a bosmer. She has golden hair and green eyes. Her antlers
were magically grown while growing up in the Valenwood. She’s rarely seen without her bow on her back and some sort of critter clamoring around her feet.

Background: A large chunk of her childhood Ceres spent in Valenwood close to Grahtwood. She spent her days wandering the forests, exploring numerous trails and paths left by the fauna. Her family were simply hunters. Providing the meat the small village she resided in. Some days she would join her father on these hunts. Learning how to take down prey quickly, their goal being to cause little suffering to those that fell to their arrows. Her family taught her not only to revere the flora but the fauna as well. The flora sheltered them but the fauna sustained them. Her mother in particular had a connection with the critters of their forest which in turn she passed down to her daughter. Ceres was very fond of her mother. Often at her feet rambling about the different plants or wildlife she saw on her “adventures”. Soaking in every bit of information or wisdom her mother passed on to her and eventually developing a skill in taming creatures.

Life in the Valenwood was simple, serene, and stable. Up until one unusually quiet night when her small village was burnt entirely to the ground. It happened quickly, without warning. Ceres remembers few details. Whether she mentally blocked it off or just chose to forget over time is debatable. She just remembers raging flames, which was a rarity to see since fire was considered extremely dangerous to the Valenwood, screams, and the sound of her parents' throats being slit. Her parents had hidden her away at the first sound of the attack. Stowing her away towards the back of their pod, beneath a small stack of pelts. When the flames began to engulf her home, she darted out front and straight into the forest. Running along the trails and paths she knew far better than the intruders. Running until the she exhausted herself completely. When she returned she found nothing but ashes. An irrational fear crept into her mind. She was the only one alive. Everything was burnt, there was no evidence of WHO or WHAT had done this. She would be blamed by her people, they would say she had broken the pact. Hurt the Valenwood and she would be killed for it and to her naïve childish mind she believed this irrational fear and fled.

Between then and now she drifted from place to place. Taking up odd and end jobs, begging, stealing. For a time, she worked within noble houses as a servant. As she grew and reached “adulthood” she began working in brothels. She joined a small band of mercenaries for a time but she continued to drift from one area to the next. Over her journeys and time, she’s picked up crafting, mainly leatherwork and woodwork. Wherever she goes she has a connection to the forest, finding it her duty to help guard and ward it. She has left her irrational fear behind some time ago, though hse finds it hard to return home, and is attempting to settle down somewhere.
