Physical Description: Nairn has a short stature for a high-elf and features that are less angular and more subdued. In a certain light, one might mistake her for an especially tall, slightly golden Breton.

Background: If her appearance wasn't hint enough, her abandonment beneath an Alder tree in Auridon as an infant suggests Nairn's less-than-pure Altmer lineage. Of course, any high-standing Nairn might have had amongst her own kind was eliminated by the mercy of the Khajit who took her in: a first-generation traveling immigrant from Elsewyr that specializes in the taming, trading, and breeding of exotic lions.
Nairn was raised to "help one in the transport and persuasion of wild beasts," a plan complicated by Nairn's nascent Altmer affinity for magick and her desperate, albeit taciturn desire to belong. In the coming weeks, Nairn will set off to transport the most recently matured litter of her guardian's exotic mounts with the intent to also seek out the mage's guild in her travels. Perhaps they would overlook her unorthodox background and accept her for her talent, intelligence, and chameleon-like physical and mental flexibility. Surely the mages would not hold her reserved, self-isolating behaviors against her. They might see them as symptoms of a studious, well-learned nature, rather than a deeply insecure one.
((This is preliminary Nairn. I'll probably come up with more details about her as I go along, as I would like to see how she fits into the community.))
