Hello! I'm Blix, main is Taralinya! I'm a 30 year old cis woman living in Atlanta, Georgia. Here are a few things about me:
Pronouns: She/her, please!
LGBT? : Polyam bisexual, but trans and non-binary friendly.
Southern Belle: I've lived my entire life in Georgia, mostly focused around the city of Atlanta. My dad has been an aircraft mechanic for Delta my entire life! I currently live on the north side with a cockatiel named Kvothe (bonus points if you get the reference. ;)), a cat named Annabelle, my fiance and my roommate, a high school friend who's staying with us while he gets on his feet.
Software Is My Passion: I'm a professional software developer for a Fortune 500 company, and I love learning everything there is to know about how software works and how it's best developed. Software is both my passion and my craft, and I work hard to improve my skills and learn new things every day. If you're interested in learning more about software development, or just want to talk shop with someone, send me a message and let's get working!
RP History: I've been RPing in video games for about 15 years now, mostly in WoW, but also in Rift, SWTOR, and GW2. I mostly RP within a close group of friends, but have been trying to branch out and make new contacts. I've both participated in and written RP story lines.
RP Style: I RP within the confines of the media I'm in, so don't expect five paragraphs of emotes in one session. I'm a pretty fast typist, so sometimes I'll type something out and refine it in a later post quickly afterwards, almost as if my character is correcting themselves.
I'm very story oriented, and like creating characters with inherent internal and external conflicts that can be resolved through RP. I strongly believe that a backstory is only the beginning of a character, and I try to write characters with a direction to move towards. While I don't mind occasional free-form tavern RP, I always approach it with finding ways to better define and express my characters. I like exploring and extrapolating with lore in ways that seem reasonable, and I also like improvising things like stories, minor events, and details, so don't be alarmed if my characters ask questions that can't be looked up in lore books! It's just an invitation to see where your imagination takes you.
