Personality: Though easy-going for the most part, Bjorn is quick to excessive and often brutal rage. Yet there is more to Bjorn than mead, battle, and brashness. Bjorn knows much of the extant Poetic Edda offhand, and enjoys sharing the heroism of his people with others. More than war, however, it is the softer notes of the Edda that interest him. Faith in the gods, the love of a young couple, familial bonds: these are the stories that interest him most, and which guide his actions most strongly. Blades of all sorts are his specialty when fighting, though his recklessness in the heat of battle can be both a liability and great asset. Bjorn spent the latter part of his life on land paying devotion to the gods, and so knows minor restoration and conjuration spells. During his time with the temple, Bjorn was apprenticed to a simple blacksmith, making tools rather than weapons, but his temperament made him unsuitable for the profession.
Weaknesses: Bjorn recognizes that he makes rash decisions, yet seems unable to control himself when push comes to shove. Patience only makes him frustrated, and frustration only makes him angry. When his rage runs hot, Bjorn does not see reason until he has already hurt those around him, souring his friendships if things escalate too quickly. Years later, Bjorn would return to Skyrim from the Akaviri Invasion of 2E 572 a conflicted young man, different from his father in all but his rage. Learning of divinity from the Temple of Kynareth in Whiterun, Bjorn tried to make sense of the atrocities he had seen and perpetrated himself. Despite his attempts at a peaceful life, however, Bjorn could never find himself at ease within the Holds, and so set out to be a mercenary with a conscience, only taking on contracts of which the gods would approve.
