Character Name: Shallows-Lurker
Race: Argonian
Age: 29
Sex: Female
Marital Status: Single, not looking.
Sexual Orientation: Gay

Physical Description: An average height, dull-scaled Argonian born under the sign of the Shadow. The trials of Black Marsh are evident upon her and she bears the full ranking of Shadowscale and all the stigmas and boons it provides. A rough physique showing life out in the wilds paired with scars of her more recent lifestyle. Bearing her signature crossbow and stake-thrower pouch, she is equipped and ready at all times to fulfill her wanderlust to explore the world of Nirn during the daytime and to hunt the children of Molag Bal and cursed kin of Hircine by night.

Personality: A no-nonsense Argonian who has spent the youth of her life as an adventurer and used that seasoned knowledge in her adulthood to become a hunter of those that would prey upon mortals. With an innate and sometimes overwhelming sense of wanderlust, she spends much of her time in the wilds except when the notice or rumor of vampires and werewolves run amok; in which she devotes her time to taking them out.

Likes: Sithis, Meridia, trees with ample heartswood, wolfsbane, shallow ponds and deep lakes.
Dislikes: Werewolves, Vampires, Molag Bal, Hircine, Necromancers
Strengths: Long-term planning and execution, tracking, social interaction
Weaknesses: Zealotry, Pigheaded, Extreme Prejudice

Background: There's a lot of things that turn a wayward and upstart adventurer into a seasoned hunter of Dremora, Werewolves, and Vampires. Repeated inconvenience tends to be the most recurring theme.
Most beings of the night consider your usual green adventurer as nothing more than fresh food or a potential thrall to enslave, and more often than not they are correct. Those that manage to slip away from those fiends gain that unique amount of mental scarring that leads to deterrence and outright avoidance of those fiends over time.
Shallows-Lurker was for a short amount of time one of those beings.
It started simple, really. Instead of shirking with fear at the scent of a recent vampire coven or a werewolf den, she'd begin to look into ways into making her adventuring life easier by learning how to handle those beasts. One piece of equipment saved up for at a time and the craftsmanship to maintain and improve upon them. First a crossbow, its added punching power quite useful in stopping beasts too swift to be halted in their tracks by bow or whose hides couldn't be pierced by anything unsilvered.
Then came the alchemical knowledge: Learning that silver wasn't the only useful thing in deterring werewolves and that garlic was less an effective ward through scent but a rather potent poison when milled down and its juices extracted. Knowledge that soon expanded to dogswood, wolfsbane, and even the practice of forming the core of her crossbow bolts out of the heartswood of trees to stop a vampire with a quick pierce of the heart.
Last came the actual lore of the fiends: Learning that dealing with a vampire coven was as simple as dealing with the primarch or matriarch, that driving off a werewolf den was as trivial as killing its pack leader. Desecrating the shrines of Hircine being enough to draw the ire and anger of the werebeasts and that using waters blessed by Arkay/Stendarr/Meridia was like acid in the veins and flesh of a vampire.
To know the hunting habits and signs of vampirism and werebeasts in a sleepy little villa or within the hunting grounds of some lord, and being able to track which individual it was who caused the recent commotions and irritations.

You see, not every vampire hunter or werewolf slayer has some tragic backstory that begins with a village being raided and destroyed by the fiends of Molag Bal and Hircine. Sometimes the knowledge needed to continue adventuring leads one to become a very, very efficient hunter of the night beasts. It was only natural that an Argonian raised as Shadowscale in tradition would eventually lead to the hunting and killing of specialized beasts.
