H I S T O R Y
| Sam was the second son born to Tullius and Leona Caerel. He was a large baby and that never changed as he grew into adulthood. His mother was a home maker, tending to the farmstead, and his father was a soldier who spent most of his time away. Sam is the youngest of two boys, his older brother being his best companion most of their lives until he decided to join the war alongside his father. Sam stayed with his mother, learning the tasks and daily dues of the farmstead. He also took up small jobs as a smith apprentice in Skingraad during the winter and spent his summers at a logging camp, sawing lumber. His brother returned from the war on a leave and the two decided, with the assistance of a close cousin to take up relic hunting for profit. It seemed like a fine way to see the world. Little did Sam know he was going to be doing less adventuring and more traveling than intended. Their search for glory ended after a few failed attempts, when coin got sparse. Soon after, a letter that arrived saying both his brother and cousin were under arrest to be tried for war-crimes. After their arrest, Sam did everything he could to prove their innocence. Little did he know, his father was behind such accusations. Sam could not understand how his father could do such a thing, until he realized, his father was not his father at all, but a lich had overtaken his form and upon further note, was looking to remove all of their names from the history books. In an attempt to save his brother and cousin, and himself, Sam did the unthinkable. He had to bring his father to the blade. Even knowing it was not his father who he grew to know and respect, the horror of removing his head would replay on a daily basis and haunt his nightmares. Beyond that, he was a murderer in the eyes of the law. There was no time to explain their case, he, his cousin and brother all escaped the murder scene unnoticed and traveled to Glenumbra to stay in a safe house. Soon after, misery set in and he and his brother went their separate ways. Sam, unsure of his fate, and unable to return to the life he knew before seeks a way to redeem himself and keep a positive outlook. He moved to the Gold Coast and joine Alessia’s Vigil, a small group of people that assisted refugees from Cyrodil to get back on their feet. Once the dragon epidemic erupted, he found himself in Elsewyr, assisting refugees from the dragon attacks. Recently his cousin returned with the news that he had their names cleared and he was no longer wanted by the law for the murder of his father. With an immense weight lifted from his shoulders, Sam now travels in search of a new beginning. |

[/justify] [/td]| Sam is easy going for a Colovian. He has always been a people person, and remembers faces easily. He can come off as quiet in larger crowds. He does not like to stand idle. He is always willing to lend a helping hand to whomever needs it and wears his heart on his sleeve. Due to his sheer size, not many challenge him and he does not know his own strength until it is used. He enjoys travel, cooking and baking, reading, gardening, and tending to animals as it is a second nature from growing up on a farmstead. |
