Personality: Naetty’s a simple girl, really. She tries her absolute best to be kind towards everyone she meets, even if some people make it difficult. She’s honest to a fault and a terrible liar. She’s not very smart - she’s literate and has a very basic knowledge of history and mathematics and the like, but that’s where her intelligence ends. She’s easily flustered, especially by tall ladies, and cannot take compliments or flirt for the life of her. She’s enthusiastic in all she does, and is incredibly passionate about what she loves. She’s not a very good listener, and has trouble understanding sarcasm. She’s easily upset by cruelty, to her and others, and will jump to the defense of her friends. She gets small crushes frequently, but they never develop beyond that. She’s deeply emotional, and wears her heart on her sleeve. Naetty values her family (living and dead) above anything else, and does everything to make them proud.
Likes: Naetty has a love for all things creepy and crawly. From bugs to skeevers to echalettes, if it’s gross or scary to most, she’s almost guaranteed to think it’s adorable. She has a bug collection (alive, and housed comfortably in a large container full of leaves and twigs), a pet rat named Sir Whiskers, and has had many other unconventional pets in the past.
Dislikes: She absolutely despises any weather that isn’t sunny and warm. Clouds, rain, storms, snow, she hates it all. She wouldn’t be able to tell you why if you asked her, though. She isn’t very fond of introverts either, but that won’t stop her from trying to befriend them anyway.
Strengths: She’s a skilled hunter. Definitely not the best out there by a long shot, but she’s good enough to make a decent living off of it. She can make simple clothes out of animal hides as well, however they tend to fall apart after moderate use.
Weaknesses: She has many allergies, most of them causing nothing more than sneezing or a runny nose. However, cat fur causes a rash, and if exposed to a large amount, hives. This includes Khajiit fur.
Background: Naetty was raised by her grandfather, Taien Greendale. Her parents died of the Knahaten Flu when she was a toddler, and Taien was her only family aside from them. The two lived in a small house in the wilderness of Auridon, near Skywatch. Taien was a craftsman, and sold what he made (mostly clothes, jewelry, and furniture) in the nearby city. It was enough to live on, but once Naetty was around 10 or 11, she learned to hunt. She was terrible at first, but with time, practice, and lessons from a family friend, she managed to become fairly skilled. She would mostly hunt local fauna for their meat, and would give the skin and bones to Taien to use in his work. Aside from having to fend off the occasional bandit, she never encountered much that made her life particularly difficult. Her life was very simple, and a simple life is a good one.
Around the time Naetty turned 17, Taien began to lose his sight. Soon after, he became completely blind, and could no longer work. So, Naetty started working to fully support both of them. She hunted and cooked and sold excess materials in Skywatch and took whatever odd jobs she could find, anything so she and her grandfather could live as comfortably as possible. Eventually, this brought her to Shattered Grove. It’s nearby, and small towns are always decent sources of work (and nowhere near as chaotic as cities are).
