Guild Wolf Pack, Anyone?

At yesterdays guild meeting/funeral, Mister Thalmor in the Red Shirt came and attempted to spy on us. When a fight broke out after the funeral, people were still occupied enough so that the entire wrath of the guild didn't rain down on him, and he was strong enough that he had to be banished to Oblivion. During the fight to weaken/stall him, two people with their werewolf ability charged (Do'Zhar and I) decided to transform and pummel the Thalmor. This provided a nice roleplay shock to the people who were just watching, and it gave me an idea.

What if the guild were to have a more official pack of werewolves? Since we already have the werewolf title in the forums, perhaps we could have more organized roleplay for those with Hircine's blessing, maybe even a subplot. I wouldn't particularly care who the alpha was, as long as their character wasn't ashamed of being a werewolf. I figured that people wouldn't want to have to juggle Blue Skooma and a werewolf RP guild.

What do you all think? If we had a werewolf pack in the guild, would you join? Can you think of any ideas for activities? I welcome all feedback.

I'd love to have a small group of werewolves. As for the Thalmor, of course he had to be banished to Oblivion, anyone with that much fab is clearly unstoppable.

I like this idea! I don't have a ww character yet but I probably will soon and this would be fun to join.

That sounds like an interesting idea. Perhaps we could make it long enough so that you had to sprint to stay in form, though people might cheat with potions... maybe there would be an official potion that had to be bought, and we could use it as a fundraiser? That seems like a more natural division that the guild-wide system, actually. At this point the clan is a very diverse bunch, and I could see some brawls occurring. Who knows? It might be a fun rivalry for the players.

There are whispers that Krimie may also be of the wolf kind.

John is a werewolf. If there is a pack within the guild, he'd have to be approached about it. He's not aware one exists. As a player, I'd love to have John interact with a pack structure. Just because I like to poke at him with sticks... mahaha.

A Gata thank you so much for necro'ing this thread. I was about to toss the idea away because there didn't seem to be any interest. According to Ri'sari, if we can think of an event (and I liked the idea of turning new members and the Wolfympics), then an officer can list an event on the calendar while the interested members can run the event.

Before that, though, we'd need to assemble a pack. I started an open RP thread here, with a background that we were all becoming aware of more werewolves within the clan. I like Ri'Zharim's thread idea for when we finally get pack together. And don't forget, there's always in-game roleplay whenever you get the chance.

So, message me ingame lets get this started!

Sylvaswift has not turned yet - full-moon I may roll a dice to see if IC he is a werewolf and then again to see whether or not he goes feral or not. His Mage is also researching cures and preventatives, as a way out IC if I need it OOC.

Unfortunately, this idea will not move on until we manage to get past it.

John very much does not want to be an alpha. He's a follower, not a leader.

Personally I would say whoever had the idea first and decided to bring people together (because obviously they are the rightful alpha for bringing the people together), or whoever actually has the time to put things together, if there are multiple people then put it to a vote. It's alot of work being an alpha, can't just claim the title and not do any work.

Yeah, but I was reading some of the character sheets and journals and such and realized some people had been claimed alphas somehow by other wolfs in their roleplays, like, seriously, there seems to be a lot of pre-existing 2 wolf packs and that kinda stuff, so maybe we should do some sort of vote?

Or. We could I dunno, do like 3 different main packs that would occasionally crash to make it more interesting. We gather all the wolfs, say "Who has the time and wants to be an alpha?" those who say yes will be a candidate and will say their piece. After that all the other wolfs vote for two. One they'd be choosing as their alpha if they don't wanna be a lone wolf (that happens) and the other to be of the rival pack.
The two (or three) with more votes are then declared to be the leaders, and we do some rp about it to officialize.

What do you think?
(I like the idea of people voting for two so there has more competition. And the other has to be of the rival pack, so they dont vote for the same person twice. Like, sorry but Ri'Zharim wouldn't be able to fight himself unless he got a bad case of multiple personality disorder)

those are just ideas though. I am fine with whatever, just don't want to organize something to have people come and start trolling when the thing starts.

I could have everyone who wants to be alpha be put on a poll, and people can vote on it. Of course, alphas can always be overthrown... ;)

You know people, everyone wants to be the hero of the story :P hahaha. I think it would be a good idea to do a poll. I wouldn't mind multiple packs either, but would be nice if we didn't spread them super thin... 2 or 3 people isn't really a pack lol

A poll for this sounds like a great idea. Personally, Elros is an alpha and is looking to form his own pack, but he is considering joining Gata's pack....when he gets out of jail and if he isn't sentenced to death. xD

Gata is an alpha, but she could follow someone, just have to rp it right (usually if you offer her a family she'll do anything you say lol)
