Hi everyone. I'm @Squirx. I'm in the midst of finishing up an undergraduate degree in engineering, so I haven't been able to get in any playtime lately, but I posted a character sheet a few days ago and I'm looking forward to joining you all properly in a week or so!
I'm a big fan of the Elder Scrolls, and particularly its lore, and its method of storytelling. I'm one of those people who could tell you not just about Tamrielic history, but also its metaphysics. I tried out ESO at launch because I cared about its world, despite having little experience with online gaming. I enjoyed the game as a pretty solo experience, but I also tried out joining a small RP guild and had a lot of fun with it! I'm a big fan of tabletop roleplaying, but this was the first time I did any RP online.
Despite enjoying ESO, I just didn't have the time to play it much, so I let my subscription drop after three months. Now that the sub fee's gone, and I'm finishing school, I'm excited to be back! I enjoy playing the game solo, but I want to make better use of the mmo aspect. The little guild I was part of seems to have dissipated since I last played. I heard somewhere about Blue Skooma, a big RP guild loyal to the Dominion, and it seems to be exactly what I'm looking for!
In ESO, I'm a pretty slow player. I'm still only level 31 with the single character I've been playing since the beginning. I take my time in exploring each area. I'm not usually a completionist, but in this game I want to eat up any lore details I can find, so I've been doing nearly all the quests and ending up consistently over-levelled for my zone.
I'm hoping to start playing regularly again next week. See you soon!
