pinned Guild Factions & Inner Organizations

Factions are designed to create diversity and plot hooks within town, for all the different varieties of characters within the clan. Each faction is designated as a potential "Career Choice," complete with its own specific ranking system, ethics, morals, degrees of legality, and wages. When your character is initiated into the Ruby-Bound, they will be required to choose a career path; these are the base factions that they may choose, though some are not listed. Please ask an officer if you would like your character to pursue an unlisted career path.

Each Faction consists of several different leaders; terminology will be explained, below.

OOC Admin: The duty of an OOC Admin is to make sure the faction remains in line with the power structure of the guild, so that they are not growing too weak or too strong among the other factions. They are required to keep order out of character, communicating events and inner workings to the GM and other officers/OOC Leaders. They are essentially acting as an officer for the faction, and will be working closely to ensure proper communication with the IC leader. An OOC Admin is usually a guild officer, though there are exceptions. The OOC Admin can also be the IC Leader of the faction, so long as they are either an officer, or a trusted member within the guild.

IC Leader: The IC leader is the in-character leader of the faction. They are responsible for organizing and creating ranks within their faction, creating story plots, recruiting, and upholding the faction's status within roleplay.

Members: This is the member base.

Leading
Ruby-Bound only allows so many factions at a time, due to the fact that we try our best not to swamp every single day of the week with an event. Many people prefer to roleplay within the township of Shattered Grove, and therefore, we have to keep days open so that people can properly roleplay. If you have a faction idea, relay it to @Vulano, the Guild Leader, via Discord, Enjin, or in-game mail.
