Name: Evensong
Age: 37 (estimated)
Race: Bosmer
Flair: Evensong's loyal companion, a wolf, that very rarely leaves her side.
Personality: Evensong longs for human interaction, but lacks the social skills. Certain sounds trigger a "fight-or-flight" reaction within her. Once being exposed to these "triggers", Evensong will usually resign herself to her private quarters, or some other secluded space. She is not confident in her ability to carry a conversation, and fears rejection. She does enjoy observing the interaction of others, and considers this an enjoyable passtime.
Likes: Animals, nature, walking under the moonlight in the forest
Dislikes: Certain sounds, Lycanthropy, Vampirism, wastefulness
Rumors: Evensong is known as the "wolf girl". It is known that she is extremely awkward in social situations, unless they pertain to her errands for the Thieve's Guild. She tends to roam in inconspicuous places, unless she is on a hiest, so she is not well known outside the Thieve's Guild.
Background: Evensong's first memory is one of tragedy. While wandering the forest of her childhood civilization, she had an encounter with a werewolf. Due to her swift cunning, she was able to escape with her life, but her life would never be the same.
Upon her return to her clan home, she was promptly treated by her mother, and rushed out of the village to preserve her life. Lycanthropy was not tolerated. After stoing away on many ships, and trecking through vast lands, Evensong found that she enjoyed the lush forests of Auridon. Understanding her fate, she continued to repress the urge to give into her curse and had yet to transform into her beastform. While hunting game, she would often see a pair of gold eyes watching from the underbrush. The eyes continued to observe from a distance for many weeks before the beast decided to make it's appearance.
The enormous wolf quickly darted from the brush, grabbed Evensong's prey, and disappeared as quickly as it had made it's appearance. The wolf coninued to follow Evensong, until one day she was able to make contact. She continued in this manner, until they were inseperable. It was Evensong's theory that the wolf had been drawn by the nasty stink of her curse.
Though she found some companionship in the wild creature she made camp with each night, Evensong craved human interaction. She decided the time to move on had come. She road the wolf through the city of Skywatch, garnering all manner of stares. She was approached by a member of the Thieve's Guild, who was looking for someone who was agile and cunning to carry out an errand. This would be the first of many errands.
Eventually, Evensong and her wolf traveled to Abah's Landing in Hew's Bane. Her noteriety in the thieving community grew, if not for her cunning, perhaps it was the enourmous wolf at her hip. She was a quiet, watchful being (as was her wolf).
A week after joining the Thieve's Guild of Abah's Landing, Evensong met an overzealous man named Crano. He was terribly enthusiastic about life, and Evensong found his presence to be overwhelming. They were assigned to many hiests as partners, and he became Evensong's closest companion, next to Wolf.
One fateful night, Crano and Evensong set up camp outside the city while on an errand. Wolf decided to bring her prey back to camp and began ravaging it at Evensong's feet. The sound was nauseating, the smell metalic. Evensong felt her skin prickle, and she began to shift.
Everything was red. Her mouth was watering, and she began to tear into meat. She tore into muscle, tendon, and bone...
and she realized it was Crano's leg she had in her muzzle.
