The Supernatural Faction consists of two major groups of characters, werewolves and vampires. As these two types of characters tend to cause issues law/lore wise, they should be accounted for and placed in order to maintain lore accuracy and the balance of power in rp and among the other Factions.
No one in this faction will be told how to play their character, however, all are subject to the town laws and rules. If your character strays out of line, there will be consequences in character.
For reference to these IC town laws, please take a peak at this: IC Laws
But wait known ww's can walk around, why can't vampires?
Valenwood is a strange place. While no known maneater should be welcomed with open arms, the practice of Hircine worship and even lycantrophy is more tolerated in Valenwood then in any other province due to the abundance of Hircine cults. That said, werewolves are treated in various degree's throughout the land regardless. It is our town's policy to criminalize transformation. Again, please refer to IC town laws.
Vampires however, are almost universally hated by everyone. This would be especially true during the event's of ESO, considering the problems with Molag Bal. Any special treatment would be handled by the Doyen Elsynia and/or council. Otherwise, bundle up and stay disguised!
If my toon's name is added to the list, will they be known as a werewolf/vampire?
OOC yes, but IC absolutely not. If someone somehow knows your toon is afflicted without any actual IC logical way of knowing, then they are using OOC info IC and god modding. Any god modding rp will be disregarded and not taken as Cannon.
Of course, if you are growling, your eyes are glowing, you're drinking blood, people have a right to be suspicious and question why you are smelling people or are pale. Just use common sense.
This faction does not have one IC leader, instead, we simply have an OOC administrator. This means that your wolfy or bloodsucker can act completely independent or form packs/clans of their own without ever needing to see each other. However, the power dynamic of this will be watched to ensure no one group restricts rp or growth.
Since we do not have a single IC leader, to join a Pack or Clan you must first speak with the Pack/Clan's IC creator. Once done, you can be added and they will handle the IC extensions and such.
To form your own Pack or Clan, simply post it here OOC so it may be added to the list.
No character is obligated to join a Pack or Clan and are 100% free to act independent.
A list of current Packs/clans is available here: Guild Factions
