ESO @name: @Xithic
Character Name: Xithic
Race: Khajiit
Age: 25
Sex: Male
Affliction: Lycanthropy
Physical Description
Xithic is an Khajiit of average size, with dull yellow eyes and white fur crossed with black stripes. He has a prominent scar across his right eye, apparently made by a blade which miraculously did not pierce the eye itself. He often wears a mix of armor acquired from his travels, but is rarely seen without his Nord-style jack. The armor is cared for, but well worn, streaked with mud and dried blood from years of travel and hunting in the wilderness. He carries a well-maintained bow with a quiver full of self-fletched arrows, and bears a small hunting knife in a concealed scabbard.

-Ignorant of magic, and wary of its use
-Indifferent to the war
-Has a soft spot for moonsugar and its, er... derivatives...
Xithic is a skilled hunter and expert marksman. While he may not have the knowledge of an academy-trained naturalist or the technique of a military archer, Xithic possesses a set of practical (if unrefined) skills that have served him well in the wilds of Tamriel. He respects accomplishments borne through skill and effort--he is not impressed by fancy titles.
As a lycanthrope, Xithic is a great hunter who is himself being hunted, and the irony is not lost on him. He is almost constantly examining his surroundings, both to detect potential threats and to seek out those like himself. In general, he tries not to attract undue attention to himself. He keeps his condition hidden as best he can, and has convinced himself he can keep it in check. In reality, it is nothing more than a foolish conceit--if kept away from the hunt for too long or backed into a corner, his control will quickly falter.
While he sees himself as a good person at his core, he is no moral crusader. Violence and death are a part of nature, and although he abhors cruelty and bloodlust he will not shy away from combat. Still, he is happy to lend his skills to those in need, and has a deep desire to feel useful to his companions (the call of the pack, after all, is difficult to ignore). He is extremely loyal to those he counts as close friends. Given his history, he harbors an intense opposition to slavery, and would become extremely resistant to any action he sees as an attempt to constrain him or those around him.
Why is your character in Dominion territory? How did they get here?
Xithic has, until now, rarely lingered in one location for long. He spent years travelling town to town, supporting himself though hunting, foraging, and occasionally as a for-hire bowman. A lone Khajiiti traveler in far off lands would at best be considered a thief or a prime target for slavers; in Pact or Covenant lands, he could be suspected as a spy. The forested realms of the Dominion are ideal for hunting, and it is hoped that the reverence some of its inhabitants hold for Hircine might also translate to tolerance for Hircine's children as well.
Background
Xithic is the son of merchant traders. Born on the caravan trail, his parents would leave him in the care of his extended family in Elsweyr during the trading season. Much of his childhood was spent learning the basics of the family business, in which he held barely a passing interest. His true passion lay in the outdoors--an intense curiosity of the world abroad--and he dreamed of traveling the whole of Tamriel.
That opportunity would arise as he came of age, when he joined his parents' caravan as a hunter's apprentice. He would spend the next several years learning the way of the hunter on the trail. After a particularly lengthy stay in Eastmarch, disaster struck on their return to Elsweyr. The caravan was attacked just north of Black Marsh by a band of Dunmeri slavers. His parents were captured and Xithic just barely escaped into the wilderness. Drawing on the survival knowledge learned from his mentor, he disappeared into the wilds, presumed dead by the world at large.
Months later, Xithic briefly emerged from the wilderness back in Elsweyr. Exhausted, clothing tattered, and stricken with lycanthropy, he was only able to gather a few old possessions before being driven from town. With his last connection to his homeland cut, he struck out to explore the vast realms of Tamriel and, perhaps, to find a new place to call home.
