Character Name: Thelin Ibis Aediath, formerly Thelin Ibis Dividicus. Most people call him "Theo."

Affliction: Vampirism (Cyrodiilic; via Porphyric Hemophilia)

Physical Flairs: Theo is on the shorter side, even for a Bosmer (4'9, to be exact). Beneath his armor, which he is almost always wearing, he sports a sleep-deprived appearance and messy, dirty blond hair. His ears are rather long and his nose is large and downward-pointing. He's very well built (those thighs could kill a man). Theo's affliction is essentially unnoticeable unless he shows his teeth; his fangs are large and blunted. Because he is a Cyrodiilic vampire and keeps himself as well-fed as possible, his eyes are pink, the only oddity being that his iris/pupil region appears small for a Bosmer. Theo has uncomfortably large eyes. Lastly, he is a victim of resting bitch face.

Tendencies: Theo has a proper posture, often crossing his arms or placing them behind his back. When he stands still, he shifts his weight to his left foot, so his hips appear cocked in an almost feminine manner. He crosses his legs when he sits. While wearing a helmet, he likes to make unsavory faces at people.

Theo walks, talks, and often dresses like an Imperial. He has a strong voice and a big mouth to match. In most cases, he is kind and somewhat patient, but his moods change quickly and he is incredibly defensive over his friends. He is known for being "the guard the cries a lot," and he lives up to that reputation; he lets his heart lead him nearly everywhere he goes. Theo loves to read and owns an unkempt collection of history books, romance novels, and adventure tales.

Background: Theo doesn't know where he was born. He grew up in the Imperial City with an Imperial father named Ibis Dividicus, who was the Captain of the Watch. As a child, Theo was quiet and self-sheltered. His father filled him with tales of the Empire's greatness, giving him romantic delusions that he still holds true. When he became of age, he joined the Legion, hoping to train to become a guard. Theo did just that and ended up working as a Palace Guard in the courtyard of Castle Anvil for several years. When he received the news that his father had passed, Theo moved back to the Imperial City, consumed with grief for the man who meant the most to him. He ended up living off of inheritance in his childhood home until the Imperial City was threatened. Theo decided to go to Valenwood, as he'd never been familiar with the culture he came from, hoping to find who his real family was and learn about Bosmer culture.

Why Dominion Territory: Theo traveled to Valenwood to escape the turmoil in Cyrodiil and learn about Bosmer culture. He hopes to find records of his family.

FINALLY FINISHED

It's looking great, but there are two things I'd like to point out before Theo can be approved:

1) The world of Tamriel is much larger than it feels in game. One resource I found estimates the continent at 918,000 square miles. That's the size of Algeria, or 1.4x the size of Alaska (which is waaaaaay bigger than our typical map makes it appear.) With all that background info, I might suggest putting Theo's Imperial camp within that distance of Anvil, since Cyrodiil is an utterly massive place.

2) There's one section you did leave out: "Why is your character in Dominion territory? How did they get here?" It feels a bit redundant at first, but putting that before Theo's background helps both those of us reading character sheets as well as helps you write his background (assuming you're coming up with it as you go.) But it is required so we have to have that in there. You can find the full template here.

oh, i know! i sort of meant it to be assumed that the camp was close to anvil, since it did only take him part of a night to get there. i'll add smth to make that more clear tho. and i included the reason he's in dominion territory at the end of the background section, but i'll separate it :D

Yeah, most character backgrounds end with them arriving in Vulk/Dominion territory. That question is simply there to help specify, act as a guide, and honestly it makes it a lot easier on the roster officers. But it is required on the template, so I have to ask that it's included.
