Character Name:
Ji'Raan Crowe, simply known as "Crowe".
Race:
Khajiit
Age:
32
Sex:
Male.
Marital Status:
Widowed.
Sexual Orientation:
Gay.
Affliction:
None.
Physical Description:
Crowe stands at 5'11, with a rather slender and somewhat curved brown-furred body. It's mostly hidden under his reinforced leathers, however, and usually the only things that can be seen are his fingers and head. He has one light-blue eye, and sports a patch that covers the other socket. Oddly enough, in couple with a simple hood, he wears a dark blue scarf that covers a good portion (if not most) of his neck. Many scars mark the underside of his face and say quite a bit of what the scarf hides. His armor appears to be a very worn down set of black and blue armor. Symbols can barely be seen, having been either scratched off or neglected by Crowe over the years. Despite this, he couples it with Khajiiti wraps for his legs and feet which allow a great deal of agility and comfort. Mainly, he carries a sword on his hip, and a small and aged engraved dagger fastened securely on the other side.
Flairs:
Though only 32, his appearance and facial expressions tend to portray him as a more older and serious person. In addition to this, he speaks in a mostly convincing Breton-like accent that he had strived to develop over the years, but still lets his original way of speaking slip every now and then when he doesn't focus on it.
Personality: Though he may seem like a hard-ass and a generally reserved person, Crowe can be quite the loyal and compassionate Khajiit. His loyalty almost always remains strong to those he respects and cares for, and would do anything to protect his daughter. His love shows no bounds to the ones he calls family as well, and would even die just to prevent anything bad from happening to them. Despite this, he has his flaws. He can be an unstoppable force when pushed to the brink, driven by anger and hatred to those who have wronged him. Coupled with the fact his alcoholism can catch up to him, he often finds himself in difficult situations and can end up regretting the things he says or does when mad. Short-tempered can describe him at times.
Why is your character in Dominion territory? How did they get here?
Crowe has mainly revisited the Dominion lands he once called his home in order to pay his final respects at the grave of his fallen spouse. One of the only reasons he was able to find passage to these areas, however, was the few caravaneers and merchants that travel through the area every now and again that he knew and paid a sum of money to hitch a ride with. Though his task has been completed, he still finds that Valenwood has changed a lot since he left and wishes to find whatever he may in this territory.
Background:
At the age of fourteen, Crowe was taught how to shoot a bow by a neighbourly Bosmer, and subsequently found himself mucking about in the art of stealth. Mainly to steal from travelers off of the streets when he went into the nearby town of Torval. He had to do whatever he could to help keep his family fed, as their moon-sugar farm was close to financial collapse and was ravaged by anarchy and plague when the Knahaten Flu developed a sickly grasp on the region. When he found that hunting in the jungle and the occasional pick-pocketing did not provide much, he turned to working for the noble families of Torval. Mainly, as a hired assassin. He eventually found that he was quite adept in this rather grisly job, and it managed to put food on the table. It was only when the sickness crept further north, and the city nearly fell to ruins was he put out of a job. So he did what had to be done, and ventured to Auridon at the age of seventeen to find work and a solid output of gold he could send back to his family's homestead.
During this time, he found mercenary groups that paid decently. It was only until after socializing with its members did he find it began to pique his interest. Crowe even had met his first love there, who he later went on to marry. Though in the span of a year, he managed to find himself in the clutches of a Brotherhood speaker. A guild member paid him to assassinate another, and he obliged. Unfortunately, this caught the attention of the local chapter and in turn he was offered a position in the Dark Brotherhood. Blood and iron was the main focus of his life, and he had killed so many innocent people in a short timespan. It was only until he was persuaded by his lover to repent for his ways and to live a safer life that he realized the senseless slaughter was unforgivable. It's still unknown what exactly he did, but it resulted in him leaving the Brotherhood on bad terms.
Though he was never fully able to forgive himself for the murders after what happened, he married his lover and eventually adopted a child after settling down in Phaer. A daughter, named Alexandria. It was when she was a cub that their relationship became harsh and borderline violent. One day, his husband came home extremely drunk, and tried to murder their cub to 'get back' at Crowe. It was difficult, but he knew he only had one choice. Rescue his daughter, or have her die at the hands of her own parent. The morning after, he fled the small village, baby in hand. It was only five hours later that the guard found the body of his husband lying on the floor of the open house. In the span of a few days, he managed to stow away on a boat sailing to Covenant lands and raised Alexandria for fourteen years after the incident. Crowe vowed that his husband's death would be the last he caused as he had enough killing for two lifetimes over. The grief and sin was carried with him after all those years however, and he still has yet to forgive himself fully. He felt empty, wallowing in self-pity and decided to try and visit his lost love's grave one more time after all those years. Dominion territory once again felt like home to him.
