Hey! Everything looks good, but I want to make sure you're aware of just how serious it actually is to have an affliction such as lycanthropy. While it is widely accepted that there are a few cases in which user is able to designate a degree of control, the condition of lycanthropy is much more of a burden than a gift, which you seem to have expressed well in your character sheet.

That being said, you did mention that your character has achieved a high sense of control with lycanthropy. That is possible, to a degree.

As a human, an afflicted lycanthrope can achieve a considerable sense of skill when controlling when they turn, but what happens during their turning is given to their beast side. At that point, the only real way to control it is with a ring of Hircine, but there is only one in existence, and it's a Daedric relic. Long story short, There's no real, lore friendly way to control lycanthropy after it sparks. That's all up to the beast your character turns into.

As long as you understand this, I can go ahead and approve your sheet.

I understand. I've actually interest in having him EVENTUALLY get into trouble with it. I do want to extend it for some time before then, but I'm one of those people that really likes to put their characters through hell. :I I just want to wait until a time I'm sure he won't be completely banished for it. xD I'm okay with collars and jail-time and all that, though I also understand there's only the one (as per listed, anyway). We'll see how things go. :3

Well, yay! But yeah, I'd rather see how things go with it. I'm big on 'let the characters make their mistakes, however stupid'.

I had a character die, once, because he angered someone, got knocked out, and pushed into a lake, for instance. He deserved it, but I wasn't going to argue it. xD If he suffers over something dumb, so be it. I do really like the idea of the collar, though. Really does make things interesting.

Sigmund, there is still only one. The town is not going to accommodate for multiple afflicted; it's outright illegal to harbor afflicted in the first place, so the fact that we even have one is pushing it. the rule that was instated is still the same. One Marshal that was in rule for a short time will not change that just because they didn't know that there was only one collar. Compared to what it used to be, the population of afflicted has diminished; roleplay with us sometime to see.

You can find more information about the silver collar on the huge Guard manual I made, here.

Approved 3/22/2017.

Aye, please make sure you fact check when giving new members information, or anyone information for that matter. It's been months, maybe even a year, since you've been back to RP with us. Things can change, and a check-in would do nicely to make sure the info you have is up-to-date. Better yet, come and RP with us if you want to know what's up. No easier way to figure IC stuff out than jumping into RP. :)

No worries, both of you. <3

I've even been leaving histories unread in character sheets to avoid accidentally drawing something in from them that I shouldn't (my memory isn't very good, so I sometimes forget). I know it's asking a lot from a stranger, but trust me when I say, he'll suffer whatever consequences he brings upon himself, and I will laugh about it. :D This includes a lack of a collar and (possibly) banishment, should that arise. I'd be sad about the latter, but I'd likewise be respectful about it. Might even spark me to make a new character. :T

Seeing as how this entire thing has developed (and seeing the calm and pleasant demeanour of the CS-owner) I wish to formally apologise for derailing and disrupting this CS and this process of application. It was by no means my desire.

Welcome to the guild, Dreuth! I do hope you enjoy your stay :)
