To onlookers Theren has a skin tone of undeath due to his vampirism, his eyes a deep red, like pools of wine that tend to flick their gaze around rooms he is present in. His hair is a feathered and messy adornment the color of chocolate, seemingly not caring about styling at all, but is tied back when engaged in tasks such as smithing and cooking. Theren is tall for Altmer standards, but not a giant to his race, whilst a Bosmere, Breton or other such races might jump to that conclusion. Often wearing a set of heavy, dark grey armor that is well maintained and beautifully crafted.
Personality:
Theren tends to lean off the more antisocial end. Due to his affliction he finds it hard to interact with others without being hunted out of town or shunned. Often times Theren wears a heavy helm to try and pass, but will remove it if asked to. Although he is a vampire Theren does not seek to prey on the innocent, instead he slakes his hunger with those who deserve no mercy. He likes to smith and can really let his heart free when in the process of forging a new elegant suit of armor and although he may not often start a conversation, if he is involved he will partake within a discussion or greeting. Though he may seem timid for a vampire, Theren has an insatiable anger to those that cursed him, often times he can be found employed by many different factions for either information, or the rare occasion where he need a few coins more, and so has worked for more than just one alliance. If asked about wanting to be normal again and curing his affliction Theren will simply shake his head "I leave that to the divines" he will often say. Although relatively kind and lawful, Theren is used to abuse and hatred and does not blame anyone for it, as he used to feel the same way.

Theren has a rather large presence in a room due to his height, but never really talks about himself, rather he will find a way to escape a conversation about himself and divert it back to someone of something else. Few that might befriend him would find out that Theren is much older then he seems, looking the age of his late 20's he has been stuck with an immortal body since that age. He was in a team of soldiers that where set out to clear a vampires den, when they arrived they had realized it was all a trap, and the vampire lord had been waiting for them. his sergeant and fellow brothers in arms died that day, but after vowing to hunt his killer for eternity the vampire lord had a change of heart. Not in the good way of course, this vampires sadistic plan was to turn Theren into the very thing that slew his friends, as the curse was enacted the Vampire lord left him with some parting words "Better start looking". That night, driven by hunger and instinct, Theren lost control of himself, feeding upon dozens of innocent farmers and when he awoke, it was to the sounds of guards, searching the farmsteads for any life, from that moment on Theren honed his willpower, to never loose control again, and gave himself a mission. TO find the one that did this to him, and end its existence.
