Physical Description
Thanks to an illusion pendant that was made for him, Willem seems more or less mortal. Looking seventeen instead of his actual age of 22, Willem stands a bit shorter than the average in his race. He usually wears the same armor, a set of combat gear that covers the entirety of his body. His brown hair tends to partially cover his hazel blue eyes, and there are a series of runes tattooed from his left forearm to his shoulder blade, more for aesthetic than any meaningful purpose, though there are burn scars that surround the entirety of the tattoo.
Personality
Willem is generally a secretive person, but he attempts to keep people from thinking so. Whenever anyone asks him about his past, he will ask them which of the four stories about the topic they want to hear, with all of them spoken with varying levels of accuracy. Such tactics of information bombardment aren't uncommon around him, even if he has nothing to hide. Unless provoked, he is generally amicable, friendly, and mischievous at times. Unless bombarded with several issues at once, he generally takes things in stride, regardless of the importance. That being said, he is prone to bouts of curiousness. Independent of any of the above, when pushed to his limits, his actions express a serious disregard for his own life, although whether this is a bluff depends on the circumstance.
Why is your character in Dominion territory? How did they get here?
Willem, a member of [Sanctum university], befriended a woman by the name of Bethany Hawke. After not hearing from her for several weeks, Willem traveled to the chapter of the Mages Guild she was assigned to, located in Vulkwasten.

Willem was born in Daggerfall and studied magic under his mother. After she died from disease, he continued his studies in Wayrest. Traveling home to visit his brother's wife after his passing, he met a vampire in Koeglin who offered him a place in the Cult of Lamae. With no immediate family left, he shrugged and joined the cult. After getting engaged to an orc there, he had a disagreement with the church and splintered, his engagement breaking in the fallout. He wandered around for several months before joining [Sanctum university] for the opportunity to expand his knowledge and the asylum it granted within its walls, which brings us to present day.
