This thread is primarily for my own reference, but I wanted it to be accessible in case anyone wanted to do some snooping, so I'm posting it instead of leaving it as a Word document. It may be updated periodically as I nail down details, or tweak things.

(For reference, my "non-alt" character is Sugar-Purr)

Why the Dominion?
WIP
Born and raised in Elsweyr - doesn't care much for the Dominion as an organization, but goes where Khajiit are.

Background
WIP
Favorite "daughter" of Sugar-Purr, allowed a lot of freedom, was educated and trained as a Moon Priestess (mostly so Sugar-Purr would have that as an asset)

WIP
Scrawny little snowcat

Personality
WIP
Poorly educated Nord-idolizing feral hillybilly
Tends to trust her gut and act on instinct - has a lot of practical knowledge but little book smarts, and kind of dismisses them as unnecessary. Speaks slowly and simply, often in vernacular, but isn’t timid or shy about it. Often comes off as disinterested, unfeeling, or downright cold, because of her lack of social skills and inability to process emotions, though it can lead to her being ruled by passions like anger or frustration.
Pretty loose with morals, tends to be pretty utilitarian but also self-centered and inward-focused. Struggles with religion. Blunt, dense.

Why the Dominion?
WIP
Not Dominion

Background
WIP
Born to traders in a caravan in Skyrim
They neglected her, not because they didn’t care or didn’t love her but just more... they weren’t really good parents, and put business first, and maybe didn’t know any better.
So she spent a lot of time wandering the wilds of Skyrim - teaching herself herblore, tracking, hunting, learning from the Nord travelers she encountered
When she was a bit more grown, her parents decided to teach her so she could join them as a trader, but the damage was done - she had no head for numbers, no social skills, and especially not the interest or patience for the lessons. Her parents grew frustrated with her, and she with them, until one day she just never went back, striking out on her own.
She fends for herself, avoids most folks unless necessary, and somewhere along the way (haven’t figured out exact details), she picked up hedge magic from a reachman.

Sah'ra-daro
@KamikunInuzuka

Khajiit | Mid-30s | Female | Single, Not Looking, but Available | Unafflicted

Physical Description

WIP
A tall Cathay-raht, her size and stature can be imposing to some. Although Khajiit aren't necessarily disposed to the same lumpy bulging musculature of Orsimer or Redguards, there's no doubt that this woman is strong. She stands tall and straight, though instead of rigidity, there's a certain fluid tension to her stance, as though she could break into a sprint, or leap into the air at any moment. Her armor and weaponry is well-maintained, though it shows signs of battle, and she seems to hardly notice its weight.
Her fur is a tawny brown, splattered with dark markings, and her mane is kept short, often tied back. She wears no ornamentation, though a close look and a knowing mind may recognize crude symbols of Baan Dar and Alkosh engraved into her armor.

Personality
WIP
Although her size and posture project an aura of intimidating seriousness, most of the time, Sah'ra is casual and jovial, even bawdy. She's professional and polite when dealing with employers, though not subservient, but among her comrades, she relaxes into the hedonistic joie-de-vivre that's often common among mercenaries and privateers. She's not shy with her vices, though she seems to find ways to avoid paying for her drinks.

Likes
  • Lots of food
  • Swimming
  • Experienced COs

Dislikes
  • Imperials, especially Colovians
  • Sleeping late
  • Humidity

Strengths
  • Extensive combat history, in a variety of groups and environments
  • A network of contacts, mostly former comrades
  • Unquestioning and obedient, with little morality to hold her back

Weaknesses
  • Little formal martial training
  • Sticky paws
  • Little morality and fickle loyalty
  • Low doorways

Why the Dominion?
WIP
Although a mercenary with little taste for morals, most of her work tends to be (by virtue of her location more than choice) for Khajiit or their allies, which now includes the Dominion.

Background
WIP and prone to change
Originally from a small village in northern Elsweyr, little more than a rest stop for trade caravans, Sah'ra-daro spent much of her early life pilfering from the caravans passing through, to ensure that her family had enough to survive. When she began to attract too much notice, she would take a job as a guard for one of the caravans, traveling with them to their next destination and spending some time there (often continuing her thievery) before returning home with another caravan, bringing back her pay and other loot.
Eventually, she picked the wrong caravan to prey on, and was caught - instead of reporting her to the authorities, she was "convinced" to work as a guard for the caravan. After working off her "debt", she stayed on, mostly for the money, which was better than she could get elsewhere. Eventually, as the Knahaten flu started sweeping further north into Elsweyr, caravans slowed down, and fearing for her family, Sah'ra-daro left her caravan and returned home.
Finding her village deserted and her family (or their remains) nowhere to be found, she returned north, using her meagre savings to purchase the best armor and weaponry that she could. From there, she set out as a sellsword, offering her blade and skills to the highest bidder - she took on individual contracts, joined mercenary companies, fought against the Colovians, guarded caravans, worked for clan mothers, even spent time as a privateer, but never stayed in one place. She continues to hone her skills, amass her wealth, and search for some sign of her family or their fate.

Personal Notes

She has little interest in magic, though respects its power, both appreciating healing and fearing the destruction it can wreak. Although she knows how to fight against magic, and what its weak spots can be, she tries to avoid getting cocky, and maintains a healthy dose of caution when dealing with magickal sorts.

She actually enjoys the company of other races, and often relishes the opportunities to travel that her "career" affords her. She likes seeing how other races relax and celebrate, and what sorts of drinks and meals they come up with. She doesn't have much like for Imperials (though wouldn't let that get in the way of her money), but anyone else is fine by her.

She wouldn't necessarily call herself religious - she doesn't regularly pray, or make offerings, or much of that sort. However, she does try to be at least aware of the gods, and avoid directly antagonizing them. She subscribes to the theory of "leave them alone and they'll leave you alone" for the most part, though the rough engravings on her equipment suggest a bit more faith than she'd be willing to admit.

Regarding Daedra and other supernatural critters - vampires and werewolves and their kin: Although she's not exactly enthusiastic about their existence, she's at least tolerant. She recognizes their power, but also knows that there are costs associated with it. They're not costs that she's willing to pay, but she doesn't have any real concerns about working alongside or for those that do.

She likes smaller towns, and seems to like getting to work with common people, doing menial tasks. She also enjoys children, and always seems to have a sweet or toy for them (though where she gets them is perhaps less legitimate). Whether this is some sort of atonement for some of the atrocities she's committed in the name of gold, or simply a recognition of the tribulations of her own childhood, and attempting to make things easier for others, is yet unclear.
