Character Name:Wesley (Last Name Unknown)
Race: Imperial
Age:Unknown (looks 30)
Sex: Male
Affliction: Werewolf
Physical Description:
Height: 5'9"
Hair: Dark Brown
Eyes: Cerulean
Body structure: Average build with more toned chest and shoulder muscles. The years have taken the toll on the stomach and where was was a 6 pack is an undefined belly.
Distinguishing Features: Scar against his left peck running down to his naval.
Personality:
Having still not fully recovered his memory, Wes has built a new life that is rooted deep from his subconscious. He tends to favor charming endevours and finds himself usually in the mix of helping those near him. While he may lack the charisma to match his schemes, he fancies himself a follower of Dibella and, as such, views vampirism as an abomination to life.
He keeps himself in a humble spirit, though, as he looks at those with afflictions with a sort of pity. Having been "Blessed" by Hircine, Wes has went through great lengths to keep the beast in him at bay and worked with an alchemical friend to help keep his scent masked. With the loss of the friend, however, Wes may just have to face the consequences of his "blessing".
Due to losing his wife and daughter, Wes is currently in a morose state and even the thought of death as failure doesn't stop him. He welcomes it.
When in his best state of mind, Wes is usually quick with a joke and seemingly will find the silver-lining to any situation.
When keeping to himself, Wes enjoys fishing, mantras, and writing his memoirs.
Likes: Information that is worth value, Statues of Dibella, and music.
Dislikes: Most Dunmer (as he was a slave), goat milk, and necromancy.
Strengths: His imperial training still resides within him. Wes is a master of linguistics and the art of Facades. He is able to blend into his surroundings and with deft fingers pick locks to get what he needs or go where he has to.
Weaknesses: Only skilled in hand to hand combat and knives. No magical training, nor trained to wear armor of any sort. Women can always play him for a fool.
Background:
Born and raised in the Imperial City before it's loss, Wes and his sister Lyrisa were orphaned when their parents were murdered for unknown reasons at this time. Taking to the streets, the two met a friend, Taloquin, and the three became street rats. Thieving and taking what was needed to survive for years. In his early teens, Wes and his crew grew too confident and attempted to thieve from an Imperial general. Quintius Clatias had caught them just as they reached their prize, but instead of turning them in or having their hands cut-off, Quintius was impressed by how far three mere teens were able to make into this abode.
Taking the three into his own home, he started to train them along with others (Elizabeth, Tayloriel, Salvian, and Nikolas) as an elite small team of infiltrators. All near the same age, the seven of them became Quintius' prized pupil as they spied, gathered intel, thieved, and recovered relics for the general in a fashion the empire would not have approved.
Eventually, Quintius starting taking Wes' sister as a lover and quietly started to put the idea into her head that she would need to kill the others as they had all grown too dangerous in their skill and their knowledge of what Quintius had them doing and his ploys. One by one, Lyrisa killed the team with only Wes and his lover, Elizabeth, remaining. Slitting Elizabeth's throat in-front of him, Wes screamed in anguish as he fell to his knees, defeated in seeing the last of his sister's sanity gone. In a small moment of hesitation, Quintius notice Lyrisa's blade be stayed and notched an arrow at Wes' location ultimately causing him to fall from the balcony and into the rocky reef below.
Wes awoke with no memory other than the name Elizabeth, bound in chains being sold into House Sarthos as a slave. There he worked his way up to a Hand of Sarthos and served as a spymaster for the lord. Eventually, he left the service of the House along with his new lover, Kenna, and managed to secure themselves in Riften away from the Dunmer. Starting their own chapter of a thieves guild, Wes and Kenna started to train a new generation of thieves that Kenna's past was tied, too. This wasn't to be, though, as they were betrayed from the inside.
Having full memory of this loss, Wes watched as his house was burned down with his wife and daughter inside. Full of grief was set out to find the betrayer and his search has lead him to the Gold Coast.....
