Ok, this is what we got so far:
Please the other senior Officers please post your department rules and please guys tell us what you think about these guidelines. I want to be changing the about us session and the officer application soon.
Universal Officer/Senior Officer Guidelines:These set of guidelines are for all departments.
- No advertising other guilds Unless they are specified in the Guild Friends thread. Only advertisement of events is allowed, and as long as the guild in question has opened it to us and that it does not coincide with Blue Skooma events. The Guild Master and the Ambassador are to be keeping that thread up to date to avoid confusion.- Always be respectful of othersYou are an officer now, it looks bad if you go around calling people schizophrenic and psychotic just because you don't like them. So basically, no homophobia, ableism, ageism, racism, sexism, etc.
- Keep communication open!Always report to your senior officer/guild master or make a thread warning us of what you are doing, let's try to get things clear and get trust going among us and let's avoid being shady. The Guild Master is also supposed to keep accounts of her activities in the Center Stage or Backstage.
- Remain ActiveIf you stop playing ESO or contributing to the guild, you will be made a Full Member again. Do not take this personally. Being an officer is more than just a title, it's a lot of hard work!
- Care about us.This is volunteer work, so it doesn't really make sense if you are not into playing with us.
- Help MembersOfficers must keep guild chat open at all times to assist members. Please help members find RP through guild chat by advertising that Roleplay is happening ever so often.
- Moderate & DefuseMake every attempt to keep drama from spreading. Handle matters with only those members involved and speak about them only to other Officers. Remember that your actions represent all of us.
Do not allow offensive remarks, explicit sexual RP / chat, and WTS / WTB in guild chat. Keep an eye on Teamspeak.
- Remove Bad MembersPost a thread in the Feedback & Complaints forum about an incident so everyone is informed.
If an issue is severe and requires immediate action, get a vote from all online Officers using in-game officer chat to remove a member.
- Be NeutralWe try to serve every alignment, every player alike, making this a safe and fun environment where everyone can live the type of story they want. To ensure that our Officers and Senior Officers are to be neutral, it is required that those who have leadership in other RP guilds tell it so to the GM or their Senior Officer, as we know not every guild is the same and some have different interests and approaches than ours. Also, neutrality should mean that you won't act on favouritism, and will be unbiased on all your actions regarding this guild.
Department Specific Guidelines:Roleplay Department:Roleplay Guidelines
Not in Game- Check the forums at least once every other day just to see what is happening.
- Volunteer and help with tasks as they arise.
- Suggest ideas for events and stories, as well as give the Roleplay Master feedback as she writes the guild story.
- Though not mandatory, developing and RPing your own side stories or collaboratively written stories as long as they do not conflict with any main stories are strongly encouraged and recommended.
In Game- Attend and help with an RP event at least once a week. Let the Roleplay Master know if you can't be there any given week.
- Be helpful and respectful to all members and willing to drop what you are doing to lend a hand.
- Conduct casual RP whenever you're not busy in game.
- Let the guild know via guild chat when and where RP or an RP event is happening for our guild.

Roster Guidelines
Guidelines for the Roster Department:
In-Game:
1. Check the in-game roster for new members when you get the chance (every other day is ideal, but I understand people have lives outside of the game).
2. If the new member does not have a note, calculate two-week trial period and write the date and time in the notes section for each member.
3. Send Member a greeting message (include CS* due date and offer the member our help). Reminders are sent 7 days into the trial period and 3 days before the CS* is due, ideally. Check with Senior Officer to see if Final Notice should be given.
4. Every time you send a message add the date and type of message sent to the notes section for each character.
5. When kicking members from guild, send them a farewell message (stating they can apply again when they have more time).
6. Promote members in-game when they meet full member requirements (an Approved Character Sheet). Remember to delete the notes section for each member.
Forums:
1. Check for post and CS from trial members on the forums sporadically.
2. Occasionally, check the User Management roster to make sure trial members match up in and out of the game.
3. If they do not, alert your senior officer of the error.
4. Deny and Approve CS, as they are posted.
5. Change trial member title to full member title when a CS has been approved.
6. Remove all tags from members that are kicked from the guild.
Scheduled Meeting between Senior Officer and Roster Officers: Bi-Weekly on TS in Dauntless chat room. (Day of the week: to be determined).
Commerce Department
Diplomacy Department
Diplomacy Guidelines
1) File reports on
major disputes resulting in a ban, or conflict OOC in cross guild RP
(mind you that this does not happen often, in the past 3 months or so, I've only had to do a report once)2) Check the
Diplomacy Hub when you can, it is constantly being updated, new information coming in, and old information changing
3) Help keep an eye on, and bump threads on other sites that we run ads, links provided in the Diplomacy Hub
4) Diffuse arguments/prevent arguments by stopping sensitive subject conversations in guildchat
5) Know our status with guild alliances
It is not mandatory, but a recommendation that diplomacy officers branch out and speak a fair amount in guildchat, and get to know our members. Diplomacy can't do much without making friends :P
